What do you guys think? Would Lawson be a better addition than Dragic?

There seems to be conflicting rumors of whether he is available or not. Codman seemed to hint that acquiring him would require taking a hit to morey's hat which seems to mean his cap.

IOW if you want Lawson you must take McGee off our hands. I don't see how the Rockets can make an outgoing salary match.

I don't think he's moving. The Nugs are trying to get good the same way we got good (and good for them!). They wanna stay somewhat competitive and find the right deal for a star. It doesn't happen often but can occasionally be done (see; Derelll Muoray).

I just can't figure out why Denver would do it. Lawson would be a huge pickup for the Rocks, possibly with the impact a lot of us think Dragic would have, and on a contract far more favorable to Houston. Morey should be going hard after him and I suspect he is. Sure as hell hope so!

    Would they take TJones + NOLA 1st + NY 2nd + Terry + Papa?

i'd do it for that. but i also feel like they might could get better offers from other teams.

i would not want to give up D-Mo. Capela maybe but i wouldnt be quick to give him up

Denver has expressed interests in trading Lawson if the deal is right, but they have no reason to rush. This doesn't fit well with our deadline THIS season to improve. Hopefully Les can chat with Dragic and figure things out like he did with Dwight. We treat our stars well, which is why during FA, so many were willing to come back and bat for us. It's the role players that come and go.

Morey should go hard at Lawson. Just a bit older than Harden, a Lawson/Harden back court would just be awesome to see, and for years to come, without the added risk of free agency.

This is the best outcome for Houston by Thursday afternoon.

We could offer to take back McGee as part of our package for Lawson, but it would require an extremely difficult 7 for 2 trade. Worth it though, imho.

He might be The Plan, but there is only one Answer.

Scott "The Answer" Machado is coming home.

I have been saying this for a month now, you go all in and take TY LAWSON,Chandler, or Farid.

Ty would put the Rockets over the top

    Lawson/Bev
    Harden/Brewer
    Ariza/Chandler
    Jones/Josh Smith.
    Dwight/Dorsey >_<

Goran's refusal has greatly weakened Morey's position.
The Nuggets will ask for a massive package to even consider moving Lawson.
I don't think they want to move him either.

The Nggets already were asking for a big package - and rightfully so. His contract is a bargain atm.
This would take as many assets as Dragic to trade for and ...possibly more.
    DMO+Nop1st might not do it.
The Nuggets have no need for either DMO or Jones.
Maybe Jones is traded elsewhere for another 1st round pick and then the two first for Lawson.

    IS RUBIO A POSSIBILITY?!

On the other hand... Ty is the Law, son. I'd take him if we can't get Dragic.
