Has this guy played during the preseason? How has he done? I didn't hear from him during the Cowboys game...

Was this guy worth the pick during the 1st round?

this has been the hottest topic on Sports Radio 610 in which everybody is questioning if this kid is better than the dude from UT in which frankly annoys me cause like what the host says, its THE PRESEASON. You can question the pick after maybe a year or 2 but not based on preseason games.... jesus.... :p

Oh, I didn't know that. Being up in Dallas, all I hear about is Demarcus Ware and how awesome he is.

Now why didn't the Texans go after him?!?!

Talking about busts, how about Jason Babin.

Yea, speaking of him, during the Cowboys game, he wasn't even a threat at all. What a complete waste of picks on that bum too....

Looks like another Matt Stevens.

I agree..started in this thread. I think Johnson will be OK. Once this season gets going he'll make an impact. I hope!

holy cow ..dude has played 1 year, a rookie in the 3-4 and he is already a bust? lol

did you really expect him to be Greg Lloyd right out of the gate?

Like Dave2000 said, it's WWAAYY to early to make a fair assessment of a player, he is a rookie playing preseason games. He is going to have his share of problems as he is a rookie going against 300-350lb veterans that know how to play the game. I think it will take atleast 1-2 seasons to tell how this kid is going to turn out.

Ware was off the boards at #11, 2 picks before us. But I still think we would have passed on him, we have R. Smith and G. Walker manning the spots. We needed to solidfy our defensive line which has always been riddled w/ injuries.

BTW, Johnson is a defensive tackle, not a DE. :)

I was expecting him to be the next Ray Lewis, not Lloyd.

i agree ..nevermind that he was the first rookie ever to start at SOLB in a 3-4, not to mention the fact that he was a DE in college, not a LB

Babin sucks ..cut him!! ...and tell Casserly to cut Bidge too while he is at it ..im sure Craig has somehow ****ed up the Texans too

No, I wouldn't say that. I would say that I expect our first round picks to have some sort of impact though. Suggs made the conversion and had 12 sacks in his rookie season. I have a big problem with Casserly and his draft day selections. He hasn't done a good job of getting playmakers for this team. Every year Casserly leaves Texans fans looking puzzled on draft day.

It shouldn't be too hard to miss on a top 3 pick. What about the second pick in that draft Bennie Jopperu when the best TE in Jason Whitten was still on the board.

He found DD in the 4th round so I give him credit for that but he has been a pretty bad drafter other than the first round picks. He wasted a second rounder on Tony Hollings, Jabar Gaffney, Bennie Joppuru. He wasted a third round on Charles Hill, Seth Wand.

That draft Jason Witten was rated as the best TE but still charley took Joppru because they had him for Senior Bowl practice.
