Just saying that Watt is still young enough to build around. Johnson shouldn't have to go through another rebuild. Hell, they've been rebuilding damn near the whole time he has been here. I respect that man enough to wish that he had the opportunity to end his career on a high note. He has been nothing other than classy the whole time he has been a Texan. Do I want the best player on our team traded? Hell no, but I'm thinking it is about time they blow it up again. Dre won't be a good football player or maybe even still in the league when the Texans have Super Bowl aspirations again. If I was him, I'd ask them to do me a solid behind closed doors.

He's under contract until 2016. We'll extend him before that at some point.

Can't wait until we cut losers like Schaub. About to clean house in this B

I'd love to see Dre retire a Texan, but if he really wants to go, I think McNair should accommodate him.

Given how he is usually the guy they go to in order to rework his contract, I don't think Andre Johnson wants to go. He doesn't want to start over with a new QB but this bit with Case probably has illuminated him on how Schaub isn't the answer and Kubiak's insistence that he and the vanilla offense that dug us into the losing streak we are still in along with the dismissal of his friend Ed Reed are probably giving him concerns about Kubiak.

Unless McNair fails to do the right thing and dump Kubiak (plus probably Rick Smith) I don't think Andre Johnson would mind ending up a Houston legend along the lines of Earl Campbell and others that didn't win. Really it is too late in his career to go to real contender in the off season unless he moves to the west coast.

This regime is diggin such a hole it may be years before they shake the loser perception. Reed now johnson and watt is next. I have been saying come time for watts contract he should walk and not look back.
