feel bad for ya bro. but i do the same. im a workout fanatic, and when i strain my shoulder and couldnt work out for a while, i kept eating like i usually do. don't wanna lose the muscle ya dig . it's very easy to lose weight (for people who are fit/always work out). losing muscles suck. for a guy like tracy, losing weight is easy. he lost like 5-6 lbs in a span of a week last year. what he needs to do is just get his knee is good shape. working with grover will get him back to tip top shape in no time.
I agree with what you're saying I'm just saying I kind of understand what the OP is trying to say. He probably should have just asked do people think T-mac will have a huge drop off like last season instead of comparing him to Darius Miles who never was good as he should have been.
I suspect if you were paid over $20 million to play a sport and had access to the best nutritionists/trainers/doctors in the world you would have had a bit more luck keep the fat off. If they guy did get fat it's even more inexcusable considering he had knee surgery. The last thing a surgically repaired knee needs is more body weight to support. For the rest of us, it still isn't very difficult to count calories.
When I blew out my knee in football I played DE and was about 240 at the time of injury and I had very little fat on me I'm just a big guy and by the time I was able to exercise again I was a very fat 260 and I tried to watch what I ate just when you go from nonstop physical activity to not being able to walk it does a toll on your body. I'm about 230 now again and it was pretty easy for me to drop it but I'm also 18 so hopefully McGrady will be able to shed it fast and get back and have a good year but if not and we suck atleast we can get a good lottery pick and get his eventual replacement.
