True too. Depends how you measure it. In team sports, wins are what count and in the playoffs, advancing is what count. If you keep advancing, you will win a ring. If you keep TJacking series, you will never win no matter how many points you score.

You are right. That's true. No arguing there. I only said that to make a point. I know T-Mac is not as good as LeBron and CP3. But you said final stats are all that matters to say that T-Mac isn't a playoff superstar. Fine. Then LeBron and CP3 shouldn't be excused either.

Maybe my "final stats" were too final!

TMAC is DONE. He is not a superstar anymore. He is not in Kobe/Lebron/CP3's level. He is not even in Deron/KG/PP/Wade's Level. He is not EVEN in [insert your next star player here]'s level. Its pitiful watching a player that is so injury prone. Everytime he falls down, I get scared.

You are so dumb. He has been soooooo sick. He had a towel over his face! A TOWEL!! He had it for almost the whole game.

Tmac is not done he was sick and that's why he put a towel over his face.

So now advancing counts? Choose one.

Absolutely it depends on how you measure it. In the end, no one cares about advancing. It's all about the final stats, you are right actually. That's why we can look back and smile that The Dream has 2 rings and Malone and Stockton have none. 0. Doesn't matter how close they got how many times they advanced past the first round. They have no rings. That's all that matters. They're still great players, but not at the same level as they could be considered (outside of Houston, of course :D ) because they never won.

Edit: I don't think T-Mac can do it alone. It's been proven he can't. It's also been proven that both him and Yao can blow a 2-0 lead coming home. I'm just saying that T-Mac will be ready to play in the playoffs. And he will play well. If the rest of the team wants to show up and help, we'll go somewhere. If not, we're getting bounced in the first round again. Simple as that. Basketball is a team sport. T-Mac needs to do his part, of course, but others have to help.

This is not to say everyone on a championship winning team is great and those who have no championships are horrible. Is Robert Horry better and TMac? No way. But the players that led their teams to championships are a cut above the others because they could lead their teams to victory when it really counted.

Nobody's excusing Lebron and Paul. They've both been to the second round. They're also both what, 23-24 years old? It's ridiculous to hold them to the same standard as a ten year veteran, ESPECIALLY when they've already proven themselves to be more successful and more reliable.

Again, you are right. It depends. I don't think anyone considers Robert Horry a "great" player because he has rings upon rings. My point is LeBron and CP3 will be placed behind Wade in the history books if neither of them win a championship (if Wade continues to play at a superstar level) because Wade has a championship. No ifs and buts about it. Wade is a champion. Nash, CP3, Derron, LeBron, Iverson, etc. are not yet.

Ok ok I concede. I know it's unreasonable to hold them at the same standard. I only said that to make a point that final stats are NOT all that matters when you're talking about some things. Overall, they do. But not in every case.

If T-mac is indeed done as many of you say then this team has absolutely no chance of ever making the western conference finals. Hell, they probably don't make the playoffs in that event.

I fail to see how anyone can judge a man who is giving his best despite operating on one knee. It speaks volumes of just how undeserving many rocket fans are of a championship. You claim the fans want a ring more than the players? What a joke. I salute T-Mac for doing what he can given his condition. He is helping us win and is trying to establish some chemistry, while also being careful not to injure himself again.

Bring on the critics and the skeptics. Throw stones while you still can. Just don't jump on the bandwagon when we click. Resign from clutchfans first, and go join a Lakers board. A lakers team led by Kobe, trade me now because I have no confidence in anyone but myself, Bryant. Leave the posting to fans that believe in this team and where it can go.
