He didn't make the All Star team last yr, and I highly doubt he makes it in this yr. So sad because he used to be player that was so fun to watch, fans would just vote him in. I'm really sad to see how fast he is declining before our eyes. Even comparing him to the 04-05 version when he first got here, it's really sad to see how much he has fallen from being atop the NBA to maybe an above average 2guard.

Last year he was hurt for a good period going into all star break which was a big and probably the only reason why he didn't make it. Tmac will be fine...i'd rather see all you drama queen fans start the b|tching now and hopefully all stfu and just leave cf when the rockets go 6-30 into January

Has he declined? Yes but I think it is all in his head. I just don't think he has that sense of urgency in the regular season anymore.

Vince Carter has been healthy for three straight years. Do some research before you spout off

    ...no.

Not many players in this league could put up 30 8 7 on one leg like he did vs. Portland.

I have no explanation for why he's been playing so bad the last two games. It looks like he's really not trying, and not just the lazy T-Mac demeanor. I mean this is at a whole new level. "He's sick" has been floating around but is there any proof? It doesn't matter.

He'll never be like Kobe. He'll never be like LeBron. Or KG. Or any of those superstars who show fire and heart and determination. That's never been his attitude and approach to the game. That's something we'll have to live with as fans. That's who T-Mac is.

All I know is he'll be around and playing well (like a superstar, like a guy who averages the 3rd highest PPG in the playoffs) when the postseason rolls around and that's all I care about. I'd be willing to put $100 on it. These last two games don't faze me. For Tracy or for the team.

There was something that bothered me in the Portland game. Adelman called a timeout after a Portland TO and it looked like T-Mac was pissed. He walked over to the bench and it looked like he was yelling. Adelman had this startled/surprised look on his face, and then Artest came over and kind of pulled T-Mac away.

I wasn't going to say anything, but now I'm wondering if anybody else saw that. And I'm wondering if there's trouble in the Rockets camp.

Wait till he's healthy before you start judging.

If you're serious I will go back and watch that 10 times over. Is it on the telecast or were you at the game? That would be all bad. I doubt it though.

If i'm thinking of the same play I thought it was Artest that called the timeout. T-Mac stood at midcourt with a "wtf" look on his face but then I believe TNT cut to commercial. Artest said something to T-Mac, and put his hand over his shoulder but that was way out at midcourt so it wasn't then...

Hmm...but if T-Mac and Adelman had beef over that, why would Adelman even play T-Mac if T-Mac was going to suck this bad on purpose? Why wouldn't he just bench his ass?

    Conspiracies conspiracies

Sad but it may be true. Sometimes it hurt my eyes to watch him play. I don't know if hes done just yet. But I'll say this if he never gets healthy again I'll say hes done.

I think it is sad to see how much he has declined in just the past 2 years. I think it will be a wrap for T-Mac after the 2009-2010 season. After all, he was only predicted to play 4 years, so 12 or 13 is pretty decent. I just wish we could have seen the 02-03 T-Mac.

You tell me. These were his thoughts after the game:

“It is rough," said McGrady. "These were probably the worst two games of my career. Of course we are going to have some games like that, but unfortunately I had two in a row. It is a long season and I am not worried about it.”

    I think that's a craptastic attitude.

Tracy also spewed this batch of denial:

“It was awful. It was awful. I think they did a great job making it tough for me. Every time I posted up I had a couple of extra guys coming over. It was a tough game offensively.”

Sure, Tracy. I saw those extra guys around you when you were wide open under the basket, only to have Kobe come from 15 feet away to block your shot.

Why don't you try moving your feet once in a while. When you stand on the perimeter with the ball, obivously you are going to get doubled. That's been happening most of your career. Nothing new. You can't just magically create space or hope the other team doesn't try to contain you. You have to move your lazy azz if you want to get open. Stop living in denial. You were craptastic and you have no good excuse.
