We say Point Forward, you say Swingman. We're still talking about the same Tmac, right? I'll give you points for hanging in the argument this long, but I don't think you have made much of a case for anything really. Link to 82games.com? Original.

I guess we have no choice but to *GASP*.... disagree.

hes a versatile player of course

that doesn't make him a point forward.

VC and Kobe are also versatile.

    thats why you discard that...

what facts have you presented other than tmac is not a point guard (which is already obvious because he's a point-forward)

tmac handles the basketball alot for us, he creates plays, he directs plays..this is what tmac does for us..what does that make him? not a small forward (he's more than that), he's a point-forward.

we're going around in circles here. u fail to grasp what is versatility. "point guard" play is PART of his versatility.

    so let's agree to disagree.

    that was a weak argument.

Not the primary ball-handler something point forwards must be.

ok that was by far the worst thing you've posted ever.

VC is versatile and so is Kobe Bryant.

    Point forwards?

    Nope, just like T-Mac.

yes they're versatile, just not as versatile as tmac.

that's why tmac is a better passer than those 2. that's why tmac is a better playmaker than those two.

and that's why tmac is more unselfish than those 2.

just b/c they're versatile does not mean they're AS versatile as tracy. tracy, KG, and lebron are the 3 most versatile players in the L.

ok. but the post BEFORE u said tracy is versatile. vince is versatile. thus tracy is not a point forward.

so i'm assuming u meant they're both versatile in the same sense.

so u agree that tracy is more versatile than vince right? hence vince is not a point forward like tracy???

neither are point forwards and McGrady is more versatile but that doesn't make him a point forward.

vince is a combo guard he plays point guard for the nets when Kidd is on the bench.

Mcgrady is a Swingman and thats it.

Vince Carter and Kobe are without a doubt, protypical guards. Tmac has some similarities, but Tmac's skillset covers much more of the court. You could line Tmac at the 4 (wouldn't want to) if you had to, but Kobe couldn't go much higher than 2. Also, the idea that Vince Carter is half the playmaker that Tmac is, is a laughable one.

Kobe is a different animal, because offensively he is the messiah. He is a great defender as we all know as well, but you'd have a hard time calling him a team player. Tmac has sick offense, sick athleticism AND the ability to make his teammates better by distributing.

ALSO: I think we all watch Rockets games. You don't have to tell me to "go watch the games" to see something that you think I may have missed. This is Clutchfans, it's safe to assume we watch the games. Is it safe to assume that TracyYao01 does?

i quit. i have never seen someone as illogical as you. read what you said about vince. u just said vince DOES PLAY POINT and that doesn't make him a point forward. say what?

i'm out. i'll post with normal people now. good luck w/ your "wonderland" basketball knowledge.

i've watched all 82 games and the playoffs.

just because your opinion is wrong doesn't mean i don't watch the rockets.

he's been the primary ball-handler in many scenarios over the season.

so tmac doesn't play point guard when alston is out? and tmac plays forward. using YOUR logic, doesn't that make tmac a "point forward"?

alston avg 37 mins last yr, leaving 11 minutes. i'm sure head and lucas do NOTHING in terms of point guard play (ask anybody).
