This is more of a battle of the wills than anything. Sorry to break it to you TracyYao01, but Tmac has done alot more ballhandling, distributing, offense-initiating than you would like to admit. No one is claiming he brings it down every posession or that he brings it up the court more than our pg. Just that he is a phenom forward with skills like a guard. Also, Jonathan Feigen is an idiot. The whole "there are more analysts" on my side argument is a bit thin, just because he writes about sports for a living and has a reputable employer means nothing about Feigen himself, and it REALLY has nothing to do with your case as to why Tmac would not be a point forward. It wouldn't take much BBS to realize that many of the posters in here are better-educated, more aware fans of the sport than the writers are. Having a degree in journalist doesn't give you credibility in anything other than writing. Few, if any, sports writers don't know the Rockets like the Clutchfans.

again, tracy plays point for this team in certain minutes when JVG sees that this team lacks offensive creativity and when we turn it over (which is quite often). tracy plays point for this team a lot when we go to yao exclusively. when we don't go to yao, tracy is more of a scorer. so in that sense, tracy handles the ball A LOT, creates A LOT, distributes A LOT, he does it so much that "point forward" is such an easy label to put on him. he's a VERSATILE player. he's not a PG, SG, SF, PF. he's a basketball player. "point forward" is part of his job.
