    are you serious?

i'm gonna take that as a joke.

    i'm done with you.

Everyone is a point forward to you since your definition is someone who creates for others.

ask ANY basketball fan. tmac is basically a scottie pippen w/ better offense and not as good defense. ask anybody.

no, not everyone who's not a point guard averages 6.5 assists. not everyone who's not a point guard can break down a defense. not everyone who's not a point guard has a usage rating of 32.

    so no.

T-Mac is somewhat like Pippen and not totally.

So now you saying that if someone averages 6.5 assists is a point forward?

Then Clyde is a point forward? and Dr.J and M.J and Larry Bird?

the highest assist # of scottie pippen is 6.3.

so REALLY, if pippen is a point forward, why can't u find it in your damn small brain to call tmac a small forward?

Theres more to point forward then assists.

Tracy McGrady is a point-forward because he was our primary ball handler, created for others, directed plays. He had a large passing role in our offense. Because of that he is considered a point-forward and most people on this board would agree (thus the results of the poll).

hes not the primary ball-handler, Alston is.

He was just the main playmaker.

Kinda like Paul Pierce for his team.

um clyde drexler plays exclusively at the guard position. so if anything, u call him a "combo guard" -> don't know if that's a new term for you.

yes, i consider larry bird a point forward.

the highest assist # for julius erving is 5.2. he never "created" off the dribble for his team as much as a tracy mcgrady so in that sense no. he's more of a "finisher" on the teams he played, rather than the facilitator role tmac has played for houston.

and yes, "FACILITATOR", that's another new basketball word for you to learn for today.

that's enough for being teacher for the day.

do u want us to find the time/secs of each possession of each play and add it together to see who touched the ball more? tmac or alston??

    my goodness.

go back to your english class and find what "primary" means and then use that term in primary ball handler.

Clyde played some forward. Just like McGrady today.

dr. J had 5.5 for his highest.

    And M.J?

    Primary Ball-handler = Pippen and not T-Mac.
    SIMPLE.

there are a lot more reasons.

I think the main playmaker on your team is usually the point guard.. also I remember Tracy McGrady bringing to down the court alot and handling the ball alot as well

    Tracy McGrady = Point-Forward
