Right. He played PG all season long (last year). I think he isn't a point-forward but he could be. He likes to shoot to score, not to be a playmaker...
i think you need to get rid of the who gives a crap part. But this is debatable. I'm not gonna put up with dsounG or chronz though.
please tell me your sarcastic. McGrady a PG? just look at this then. http://www.82games.com/0607/06HOU7C.HTM 0 at PG and 0 overall in his rocket career.
Not sure if this is the same person who ran around in all different rockets boards and asked the same question, with the same results/reactions from the people. mind as well start a thread asking... - is Yao a point center? since he will be passing alot of balls around - is Wells going to be our center guard, or forward guard? since he will be playing postups and rebounding. -Is deke going to be our assistant coach benchwarmer backup center? -IS clutch going to continue to let these r****ds have control of making threads and doing polls?
75-22 determines that T-Mac is a point forward. The End. Also 100+ say 'who gives a crap' which means this is pointless and the guy who keeps bringing this up is a r****d.
um.. no. 72 people without giving any facts means nothing. and i'm sure most people that voted for whos gives think that he isn't. Like HayesFan.
um.. no. 22 people without giving any facts means nothig. and i'm sure most people that voted for whos gives think that he is. Like KaiSeR SoZe.
Anyone who averages over 6 assists a game is a playmaker can you can insert the word point in front of their position.
are you kidding me that means nothing of a point forward. players that also averaged 6 assists a game before Clyde the Glide Dr. J M.J Larry Bird Andre Iggy a lot more.
why does he keep arguing basketball when he clearly understands nothing about the game of basketball?
Me > You. Jonathan Feigen's Take on being asked if t-mac is a point forward. http://blogs.chron.com/nba/2007/07/back_to_our_regularly_schedule.html hey jonathan, Do you think Tracy McGrady is a point forward? In My Opinion he isn't. But do you think he is? (No, I consider him a basketball player that happens to be an excellent passer. He played most of last season as a guard, but can be considered a small forward. Either way, I don't think he needs to be defined as a point-something because he passes well. -- Jonathan) Posted by: TMacFan at July 31, 2007 06:02 PM
ok, and he's god or something? so we should take everything jon writes as the words of the basketball bible?
you think your smarter then him huh? Then why does he write for houston chronicle by the way Jon Loomer and Dave McMenamin from NBA.com even agreed with me. When has an analyst said McGrady a point forward? NEVER.
um yea, that's why skip bayless is hired by ESPN. or woody paige. and yea, those two writes for the san fran chron and the denver post. um yea. they must be so knowledgeable. just watch the game. a point guard creates for his team. tmac creates for his team. the reason he's more than just a "point guard" is b/c he's also a scoring forward => hence it's reasonable to call him a "point forward." but tmac can be ANYTHING he wants to be b/c he's versatile. he can play point. he can play scorer. he can play whatever.
