    Mainstream music has gone the way of Twitter. The attention span of the collective populous is at an all time low and when you have acronyms in texts along with 40 characters or less this is what becomes of culture.

    I don't listen to or download any music at all, but it took about 2 bars to figure out why this was popular. Catchy tonal hook, straightforward social or lifestyle imagery and traceable narrative with anthem-like lyrics.
