Correa’s intellect was always thought of highly… despite him making dumb decisions whenever he broke his ribs, etc.

yeah but I want to hang another championship banner and the window for this golden era is the next three years. I bet on correa being prime in the next three years. What happens after that happens.

CC should past Pujol in career post season RBIs this playoffs since he is currently only 2 shy after today's game. He also has a chance to catch Jeter if we get to the WS.

I've always thought NY was were CC would end up. Gleyber has been a disaster defensively after his 2nd season and they need leadership. Being Puerto Rican in NYC doesn't hurt either. The Yankees are willing to pay for long-term solutions.

Hate to say it but yeah unless Crane goes 10/$320 he’s gone. I’d put my money on the Yankees too. They’ve never seen a problem they couldn’t overpay to try and fix.

Carlos is just such a natural on the mic, I remember reading he was his schools valedictorian. Strikes me as a guy that would be super successful at many things, he just applied it to baseball

Yankees probably eyeing Yordan too in the next few years. If you can’t beat them then buy their players lol.

Carlos Correa can realistically catch Jeter in post season RBI and homeruns by the end of this season having played in half the number of playoff games. He's not even 27 yet. If he does this, he will have more homeruns and about as many playoff RBI's as Biggio, Bagwell, and Berkman combined for their career. Playoff Carlos is a real thing.

If we pay him 300 million, I see it as paying for what he's already given us.

We aren't paying a position player $30+ million a year. Not now, not ever.

We pay Altuve 29 million a year so I wouldn't say never.
