    Oh, forgot to add... Even though Scottie Quitten was acquired via sign and trade, it was a deal still completed via free agency, and not a mid season or offseason trade for a player under contract.

    There was no bigger signing than Carlos Lee. I mean that literally.

    question: if this rockets team lead by harden and d12 wins 1 playoff series then are they better than yao and tmac?

    At this exact moment the Pettitte signing was bigger, because pettitte signed here Clemens also signed and the Astros proceeded to go on 2 WS level playoff runs.

    Neither resulted in a WS, but as fans for 2 playoffs we had a very legit chance to win it all.

    Nolan Ryan is a close 2nd


    I think this will end up being the biggest FA signing after it's all said and done though.

    iN the end it will depend on championships but as of right now before he has played a single minute.

    Hakeem, Pippen, Barkley come to mind first.

    But for the fan base moving forward, this is currently the biggest signing.

    In the viewpoint of "all time", no it is not the biggest signing.
