With all due respect, step back 3’s and free throws were not exactly must see TV. I’d advise to invest in watching the young guys develop if time and budget permit.
It is a complete rebuild. I am not sure what you are expecting with this team. Uncertainty level is at its highest with young players that could potentially be stars or a complete bust. But if your expectations are very high for this season then you might as well save some money.
Nah, I enjoyed watching my team contend for the championship and seeing some of the greatest offensive performances of all time by Harden.
It looks like a similar timeframe as the early 2000's teams. 4 straight years out of the playoffs but with a young exciting backcourt (Francis/Mobley), just lacking that dominant big man to come (Yao). Sengun/Wood may prove that analogy wrong though. I'm not the diehard I used to be, but I'll tune in if I have some spare time just to see the potential.
The 41-41 Luis Scola teams were more enjoyable to watch than what I saw this pre-season or the "Tucker at Center run to the 3 point line and jack up a 3 every play" Harden team.
I wasn't a fan of the playstyle but a NBA team competing in the playoffs for 8 years straight is well worth our time and money.
OK, I agree. I'm being harsh. You can be a happy bandwagoner... most basketball fans are, and the diehard BBS members here are the abnormal ones. However, in the context of a team board, I thought it was a strange question. If you told me you simply want to watch the highest level of basketball at all times, then by all means... cancel you league pass and watch only nationally televised games. If you're a Rockets fan, and you like to watch the team building, contracts, trades, and then the wins... keep it. The deeper you get, the more you'll probably like it.
Invest early in this team. They are building something great from the ground up. This year will be tough .. but the future is bright.
Bought league pass for the first time in many years. Don't feel like watching streams and had a little bit of money in my pocket.
All the giddiness over this young team won me over. I'll at least do the first month of league pass. Sengun better be the superstar some of you say he will be! The Astros also put me in a good mood.
This is the first time in 18yrs or so that I haven't purchased NBA LP. I've lived in Dallas now since 2002, and have always followed and purchased it since 2004? Anyways, I wanted to, but not worth it. I'll stream what I can through Firestick and watch them grow, but they put me through a lot of pain last season, well and almost every season since 1995 dammit lol. I will again soon, but had to cancel this year.... for now.
tonight is exhibit A for why I won’t be going to many games this year Imagine seeing trash like tonight live in person? U don’t know if the team will lose by 30 or even score 100 points TC is gonna be quieter than the local library this year
