I will watch no matter what. I'll follow this team wherever it goes.. And im sorry but if you don't watch because of the Lebron and the Heat you honestly aren't a fan of basketball. It's going to be an interesting season.

If even one of these predictions is right, someone will be knocking on your door..

Miami isn't going to beat everyone in blow-out fashion. And if they do, credit to them. That means LeBron/Wade/Bosh were better than I thought.

The NBA hasn't been worth watching since Mchale gave KG away for free and then the Lakers got Gasol for chump change. It's like when someone's about to lose at monopoly so he gives all his stuff to one guy to spite the rest.

Even though the NBA is trash, the Rockets are a quality organization - I still watch the games I can.

    1)John Wall
    2)Blake Griffin
    3)Miami Heat
    4)The comeback of Yao
    5)The comeback of T-Mac (lol)
6)Kobe Bryant - he may be motivated more than ever, you know he wants to meet big 3 in the Finals
    7)New Chicago team
    8)East probably stronger than West
    9)2 season games in London

    etc....

    Yes it is.

Hell no I'm not watching the NBA this season... as long as commentators crown one team to win, why should I bother believe differently?

the miami heat will not be the all dominate team that everyone thinks. They arent averaging their previous scoring numbers. There arent enough possesions to split the scoring duties. I think the big three will average like they did in the olympics. I dont see two or more players with an average over 24 ppg.

Man up. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

True answer is that some of the games will be worth watching. The NBA is what it is... it's about personalities like wrestling if John Wall or Durant is on who you know Stern will give calls to highlight them and make spectacular plays it's worth watching.

But the days when you just flick on the TV and watch the NBA because it's on like you do with the NFL or X-games are gone. If you have anything else to do why on earth would you watch a bunch of meaningless regular season games between 2nd rate teams over a longass season? There's about 6 teams that matter in the entire league.

Fortunately if you're a Houston fan, the Rockets are one of those teams. If you're a Cleveland fan or Memphis or about 20 other teams there's no point.

    Yeah they'll be far better.

Time will tell. Validating this statement makes the season worth watching.

    lolwut?

The east might have a revamped Miami Heat, but that doesn't make the conference stronger. The eighth seed in the east will still have a worse record then the eighth seed in the west, especially since both Cleavland and Toronto probably wont have more than 50 wins combined

Miami? either Wade or Bosh will break down because they will be forced to play extensive minutes.. (excluding the nature-steroid-infused-superhuman LBJ)

as for the rockets? it will be fun to watch because of this:
    1. The Return of the Yao
    2. Silent Assassin (Kevin Martin) full season
    3. Improvement of our young hopes: Budinger, Hill, Taylor
    4. Scola and Lowry (finally) playing worth for their contract
    5. Ariza playing comfortably without trying too much
    6. The Defensive Trio (Hayes, Battier, Jefferies) making important stop on dying seconds
    7. Our (lottery) rookie: Patterson
    8. Last but not least, because it's HOUSTON ROCKETS!!

There's nothing better to watch then Shane, Jeffries, Or Hayes take a charge in the final 2 mins of the game, just when we need a defensive stop, just talking about it gets me excited! HURRY OCTOBER!!

It's always fun watching the Rockets beat the Jazz, Mavs, and Lakers.

I'm not a pessimistic person or anything. It just seems almost unfair for a fan of the Rockets such as myself that they probably won't win a championship this year, because a couple of super starts decided to team up.

Pau Gasol was an All-Star before he got traded, but he wasn't as great a player as Bosh is. KG was getting older when he got traded, and McHale was trying to rebuild the Wolves.

These players are at or near their prime. No matter who is around them, when you have LeBron, Wade, and Bosh in your core, wins will come easy.

Nothing will satisfy me more than the Rockets winning a title, but it would be sweeter if it is against the Heat.
