I have a big problem with this post.

"There are still two games left..."

As for the dominance of the Heat, and I mean the all-time dominance, there can be no doubt. Their 4-1 win over the Chicago Bulls has cemented this. (You have to throw out game one.)

No 7-game series win over a frankly one-star-pony middle-of-the-road finals team will alter their earlier fleeting greatness.

i think it was obvious enough for many posters to point out. But you are rivaling the meaning of the very word : Dominance-

if you think they can do something in the next two games. Taking a team to 7 games is not dominance. Its the exact opposite, its scraping it out. A 7 game series is so brutal because the better team almost always wins, its the clearest indication of a head to head matchup, the sample size is more than considerable.

Yeap. Miami can still win the series but we need to stop talking about most dominant ever. Not even close people, not even if they win the finals. Good enough to win? Yeah. Dominate the playoffs? Nope, zip, nada.

Now that the series is over, I want to talk about this Miami team in comparison to these behemoths of the recent past.

    Basically, I'm disappointed in Miami.

    1. The 06 Trojans almost won the Rose Bowl, was in the lead, and needed a heroic effort from VY the greatest football player in the history of everything to lose.

    2. The 08 Pats almost won the Super Bowl, led most of the way, and had a chance even on their final drive.

    3. Miami pussied out in 6 games. They didn't even force game 7. They can't even force game 7 when game 6 is at home. And I don't even want to talk about their regular season record. That record looks just lame. I mean, even Hakeem by himself led the Rockets to 58 wins once. And Hakeem isn't even a historical top 4 NBA center by ESPN standards.

    Miami, very disappointing.

For those that think they still are, the fact they couldn't force a game 7, even with home court advantage, shows that they aren't, not even close.

Not to mention the Mavs were with out Butler as well.

And after tonight's game 6 failure, I hope this kind of commentary about the so called big 3 is forever put to rest.

Is this possibly the most premature, dumbest thread in NBA Dish history?
