Yes, OP, heed this advice. If you really love this girl's personality, manipulate her into becoming the size you desire. That way she's perfect!
I wouldn't call it manipulating. I was concerned for his health and I knew he was unhappy being overweight and he just needed someone to push him. He credits me for helping him out in the beginning. Now he's the one who pushes me to work out when I'm feeling lazy or tired.
You posted your fat face on several videos on the interweb. What do you expect? If this was any other BBS you would have been photoshopped into legend. If you were so sensitive about your weight (as you are acting now) you should not have posted vids, and made fun of it previously. That opens the doors.
Ya'll know I haven't seen 300lbs in a while, and I have dated a lot of women between 180-360 (and a few between 100-130 also). I genuinely do think people have a right to be attracted to what they are attracted to. If someone only likes lean girls, fit girls, girls with red hair, hirsute girls...whatever I am totally down with it. I read the original poster a little differently than some though. I felt like he wasn't so much asking what someone that size would look like, since he could figure that out for himself upon meeting them...but how much "flack" he could count on getting from people like the people who are doing the internet equivalent of "making faces" every time the word fat comes up on this board. I am not saying "date fat" if you are not into that. Hell, even I have dated a woman "I" wasn't at all attracted to and it didn't work. But 2 things I have observed. 1) I'm a pretty good study with body language, I blame doing too much theater as a kid. So I see lots of guys who's body language seems to indicate they like the curves..yet when the girl in question is not around they attack her to their friends as a fatty. We all go through a little phase where what our friends think of who we date is almost as important as what WE think of who we date. If you let that persist your whole life it seems a little homoerotic to me (Society doesn't approve of me schtupping my buddies, so the next best thing is to have dates my buddy thinks are hot), 2) If you don't like the way someone looks, don't date them. We can do without gagging sounds, snide comments, eye rolls, whatever. I read on this board all the time about guys who were wronged by women who were mean spirited female canines. That may be, but I have been a fat guy all my life and have very seldom have had a woman say anything negative about it to the extent that some people on these threads just reflexively go off everytime its mentioned that some women aren't size 4.
What did one fat girl say to the other fat girl??? who cares, they're fat! j/k I can't believe there is even an argument over if the girl mentioned in the OP is overweight or not. She is overweight! its a fact, end of story. Just because the person next to you is fatter than you doesn't mean you are not fat. We are so used to seeing obese people in this country (esp. houston) that we are delusional on what is considered overweight. Look around you, 90% of the people you look at are overweight, its no wonder so many of you are so confused. Now, if you can/should be attracted to someone overweight, well, thats another topic.
take notes single guys...that's a conversation you DON'T want to get into. You let their favorite jeans do all the dirty work.
And still no pic of her. I demand the OP to post a picture. If not then I'll have to resort to posting pictures of my (tranny) friends. Your choice.
Damn. I missed out on someone offending someone else. FAIL. I thought I was supposed to do that... aren't I a good WINGman, dude? Yes, because we're all waiting for those! I love me some chubs, I won't lie. I try to feed Mrs. SwoLy, but she won't have it... she says she wants to stay "healthy" or some beeewwwwwllllsshhhtuff... I love her the way she is... but I want MORE!
I'm not just talking about being fat. I'm talking about the whole range of eating disorders including anorexia and bulimia. I think overall our obsession with body image has led us to a very unhealthy relationship with food. On the one hand we obsess about weight so we become anorexic and on the other hand because we obsess about weight food becomes more appealing as something we medicate ourselves with. Worrying about food causes us to stress so we relive stress by binging. Studies have shown that people who are less stressed tend to lose weight and be overall more healthy. In my opinion heaping shame and being judgemental of the overweight isn't a recipe to good health or to weight loss.
Bullseye. I know a lot of fat people, including myself. When other things are going well we lose or maintain. When there is a crapload of stress we tend to gain. It's not inevitable, of course. I am losing now despite a stressful circumstance because I reached my top weight ever...and while I am not vain about appearance I am trying to move from "probable heart attack soon" country to "possible heart attack soon" land.
Wow - simply unreal how rude that is. If this were my board personal insults like that would get you a time out..... There was another poster on here who did stuff like that, and I actually asked Clutch NOT to ban him......but to give him a warning....Clutch does whatever he likes, but I like to think this is a great caring community of Rocket's fans. And that other poster, has clandestinely posted in this thread about giving rep for a rude comment but has not been stupid enough to post garbage like he did before. I am not sensitive about weight, I just do not appreciate people making rude personal comments. Actually no it doesn't....well maybe on some boards, where people are trolling, but not here on Clutchfans, this place has a respect quotient... And you are basically being rude.....why do you feel the need to do that? Do you know the difference between personal insults and generalities? Seriously, what you said is very childish..... Look, he apologized, I accepted, not sure why you are even posting about it. And if you have the stones to post a video, knock yourself out. Try contributing something to this community that makes it a better place to be. DD
