Day'um. "Game action" recap of a card trick. Sweet. That is so ESPN. You could make a web site dedicated to stuff like that.
Though I enjoy a good 'magic' trick very much, I friggin' HATE self-righteous magicians who don't reveal how a trick is performed. I'm not accusing this guy of doing that - he just has a video, and he may acually be willing to share that info. Part of the fun should be: fool the audience... let them wonder for a little while, but eventually share the trick with them so they can pass it along. Now that I've posted the info above, not only do you know exactly how it's done, you could actually try to do it yourself. -- droxford
Well the thing is, if a magician reveals the secret, he probably can't use it anymore. Personally, I'm fine with not knowing, it's a bit more fun that way. But if there's some magician's secrets revealed thing like a few years ago on FOX, I'd love to watch.
Well, if he shows me how his trick works, you're right - he can't use it on me any more. But even if he didn't show me how it works, after seeing his trick a few times, I'd say, "Yeah, I've seen that one already." A magic trick goes stale on the same audience whether or not you show them how it's done. When you see the guy in this video clip perform, my explanation of how it's done might actually make you enjoy it on another level. Now, you may appreciate the difficulty and complexity involved in such a trick. I once knew a guy who, upon request, could make items float in the air. It was very cool. -- droxford
droxford, remember how I once asked if you were a Doctor? I think you lied to me in answering NO, brother.
No. Please don't. I can smell 'em from way over here. Nope. Not a doctor. I wish I was paid like a doctor. -- droxford
