Its fake. If you click previous item it goes to Hakeem Jersey and then go to next item where the Ariza jersey should be, its a pair of crocs.
I am not assuming anything, I just asked a question. It looks weird that #1 is tied to another name. It might not be anything but I was just going with the shock, wow angle that another player was given #1.
Try this one http://store.nba.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2804463&cp=2834601.2836124.2836125.1421542.2806554 Bottom row of jerseys
You can add the Ariza jersey with the number 1 to the cart. This should not be a happening unless the League knows that TMac will no be wearing the number 1 this season. This is getting very interesting what a off season thus far.
i looked for it last night, and it wasnt up yet. maybe its just temporary til they reveal his real number... or maybe there's some kind of deal with mcgrady going on.
interesting... the font for the number is different... a bit fatter... Rockets made a minor tweak with their jerseys?
Wasn't there a report the Rockets were going to tweak the jerseys a while back? I don't recall if it was our alternatives or regular.
It's DEFINITELY NOT a fake URL. It's the real NBA.com website. http://bit.ly is merely a domain that offers URL "shortening" -- you take a longass URL and they'll shorten it to something more manageable. Lots of people offer and use those services: tinyurl.com, snipurl.com, etc. Anyone can register a Lybian domain. In fact, Bit.ly is registered to someone in New York. You click on the shortened link and you go to the bit.ly website, where they search their database, find the original link and redirect your browser there. Once you see the jersey, just look up in your browser's address bar and you'll see that it's on nba.com -- there's NO way to fake that. Now the jersey itself? Fake. But NBA.com is apparently selling it.
Hmm... There's no way the Rockets lets this happen unless Morey thinks he's got a deal or two in his pocket. If this is another nba.com error TMac's about to whip out a whole different level of sulk, depression and denial. Ouch. (yes, I know I should have typed sulkiness, but the word annoys me).
