    Yeah, but the same can be said for cigarettes. Just because people have been using it for almost 100 years, that doesn't mean that it's healthy.

    I don't care for the the aftertaste of aspartame (and most other artificial sweeteners), though I doubt they're anymore "dangerous" than sugar.
