I have always wanted whats best for the Rockets, but lately I been feeling that we the fans are not doing enough to attract bigger names and putting the Houston Rockets out there. I believe the responsibility of a fan is going to games and cheering but there must be more we can do. I am tried of going to espn, yahoo sports, clutchfans every morning wishing for good news. Any ideas on what we can do to help our Rockets become better?
Bosh like Dwill is from Dallas.... so I think we need a good foundation first-someone who is neither neutral or lives around Houston.
this Players like the energy that fans in places like Portland, San Antonio, and New York bring to home games. It gives them an advantage in those home games.
I have gone to about 10 games this year, and I live in Austin. So having season tickets and going to ever game just isnt an option for me. I was thinking more of a rally or maybe a website or maybe signatures.....?
I don't know if anyone noticed, but we were the only playoff team (based on current standings) w/o an all star! didn't know where to put this
Just out of curiosity, but when you go to these sites, do you check the standings? The reason I ask is because, good news, we're currently in the playoffs with one of the best records in the league! Or do you understand good news to mean trading the heart and soul of our team on a great contact for an aging llama who is getting paid four times as much and doesn't want to play here?
Interesting. The big problem here is that our fans suck at basketball. None of us are a Deron or a Dwight or a Rose bla bla bla. We as fans should work on our game or have kids and work on their games.
