Don't some lights have some sort of sensor built in where, if you pull up, your light will turn green if the intersection is empty? I hate it when someone in front of you doesn't pull up far enough to activate the sensor and you miss a whole light cycle.
Every damn light on Hwy in SL seems to have that...and it gets annoying at times; late at night on 6 and one single damn car trips the light causing you to have to stop; really annoying. The light at Murphy and 90 is absolutely annoying now...those construction crews must have f***ed up that light cause it doesn't exactly ease traffic flow that well anymore. As for holding up traffic in the right lane. I get frustrated at times, too, but I don't blame the person in front of me for staying in that lane, as they have every right to; it's not a right-turn only lane after all. Cars going insanely slow in parking lots looking for the closest possible spot; that pisses me off so much, cause I'm just trying to find a parking space, ANY parking space, and I don't want it to take 5 minutes!
Dump trucks on the freeway... nuff said. Waiting patiently through three lights in the left turn only lane just to have some ******* take a left turn in front of you from the inside (straight only) lane. People who wait 10 feet before the exit to get in the correct lane The group of hispanic construction workers in the rusted out Ford Econoline van going 45 mph on the freeway. (my wife's hispanic so don't call me a racist )
I HATE when I'm on I-35 (Waco to Dallas) and people always get into the left lane (passing only lane) and go the SAME SPEED as the person in the right lane (usually 65). I'm like, DUDE, if you're gonna get into the passing lane, pass them!! And it makes it worse that its basically a 100 mile stretch, and people are doing it the whole way to Dallas. I always yell "****ING MAVS FAN!" kind of impulsively.
Preach on. This happens every morning when I'm turning left from the Beltway feeder (under the overpass) onto Imperial Valley. Some jackass turns left from the middle lane and gets mad at me for "cutting him off". Uh...I'm not cutting you off, tard. Your turning left from the wrong lane. A few months ago, someone did this and got pissed when I didn't give him the right of way. He came up beside me and yelled "when's the last time you had your ass kicked?!?!?!" I yelled back "last night when I was with your Mom!!!" True story.
and that was because I was so F*cking busy at work. Who pwntd who, finalsbound...? People who get easily annoyed are weak.
