Is there any news at all about Scola getting offers?

    Even so, when you factor in Scola's age and shortcomings
    (can't jump) (can't pass out of a double team) he is only worth about the same as the a fore mentioned players. I would pay Scola 3 years at 7.5 mil
    or 5 years at 6mil with team option on the last season. :p

    Scola is inflated around here. 5-6 million is his true worth.

    well the guy was 19-9 as a #1 post option after the landry trade. i can see why people think he's worth $10M.

    the problem is his age. if he was 23, some team might give him that money because he would be improving over the course of the contract. is it turns out, he's 30 and will be on the decline over the course of his next contract.

    If Scola can just dunk once a game, he'd get a $12M/year contract.

    Scola is underrated even by his own fans here.

    While I don't agree with the dunk comment and the dollar amount (and you were probably exaggerating for effect), I certainly agree that there are some around here who don't appreciate his value.

    Bingo. Only team that's gonna want Scola at 30 is a contender.
