Have you ever considered the possibility that tmac's style (by holding on to
the ball all the time) limits his teammates getting into their own groove?
It does make tmac a hero after every win. But it also makes him
suffer after each loss. In the end, my guess is that's what tmac wants,
whether verbally (it's on me), or show in action (not willing to share the ball).
Tmac want attention all the time.

Here's a stat telling you how we're playing right now:

In the Charlotte game we had the following FG/FGA

    Battier- 4 / 7
    Brooks- 3 / 9
    Scola- 5 / 10
    Ming- 7 / 11
    Wafer- 5 / 12
    Artest- 9 / 15

How's that for offensive balance? I am loving the Adelman post-McGrady era so far. Maybe I'll compile the stats for their average FGA in all the games after the All-Star break when the sample size gets large enough. Stats are fun when you're winning.

yep, love how he would camp out at the 3 point line and palm the ball and look at the court until there was like 7 seconds left and then he would take a fadeaway jumper...

I pray to god that T-Mac comes back, the bbs roars their displeasure with a T-Mac hate thread every other post, and the Rockets make it out of the first round.

I wanna see what everybody says then.

Let's see how many real Rockets fans there are after that. It'll be easy to seperate them.

    Come back T-Mac!!

Being a rockets fan means you want what's best for the team, not what's best for tmac.

Were Rafer haters hoping we'd fail with him at the helm?

No one, absolutely no one wants McGrady to fail with the Rockets: past present or future. Everyone wants to see him at his best helping us go deep. We want to see the promise that the Dallas playoff series showed.

If McGrady returned, everyone would want to see him turn a corner and lift us up a level.

Problem is, we know chances of that happening in 2009 are slim to none.

Rockets fans want to see the Rockets succeed. McGrady-only Apologists can't comprehend that the team may be more successful when the 08/09 version of their hero is not involved.

He'll be back and if they get past the 1st round it definetly won't be because of him and Im a real rockets fan. He has really really hurt this team so far this season in more ways than anybody can think. I like the rockets chemistry with this current group and it would be a huge gamble when Tracy miraculously comes back in a few weeks to allow him back into the rotation. But I think the rockets brass will take that gamble by giving Adelman a longer hook than normal in pulling Tracy from games when his half hearted effort or moping around the court kicks back in. Give him a pill ie.(Prozac or something) and see what happens.
