I think that old, slow Hakeem and his half court offense is hindering the development of the Rockets' fast break.

He's not on the team? OHH!

    :D

It such as weird quote that, considering how good a mates steve and he are and surely he knows Steve bailed on memphis cause he wanted to be a PG and then he says that, sort of like conceeding my best mate wants to be a point guard but wants to runt he wings for the dunks and will never be able to run the break.

I counted at least one other time this same scenario happened with Mobes, and he shot the ball. I believe it was 4 on 1 too. Didnt even fake a pass.

How many times must Mobes run the high screen pick and roll, drive the lane and the picker runs the lane beside him and not have him hit the guy with a pass when the defense collapses.

    OOPS I forgot....Mobes isnt a stupid ball player..just Francis.

There is an almost 100% chance that when he gets the ball in this spot, he will not pass it back.

Yeah Achebe, I think the idea was that out of the Francis mistakes the fans don't cover up by blaming Mobley, Odom will cover up the rest. ain't that right pasox2

    LOL!!

btw: too bad Yao Ming doesn't want to be a point guard like Ralph Sampson did.

Do you still think Mobley is more valuable to the Rockets than Francis? Or do you just think Francis has better trade value in relation to his actual talents?

One of if not the most important stat of a ponit guard is his assist-to-turnover ratio
And who leads the league in turnovers annd has like what 6 assists per game?

to answer the question: I can't think of one.

It's downright embarassing to have a player that a lot of people consider as a top 5 pg but he can't push the ball up the court or get his teamates involved.

I want fastbreaks and sweet passes dammit.

You guys have got to be kidding me...worst fastbreak PG in the league is Derek Fisher BY FAR.

Huh?? Man, sometimes I'm astounded by the complete lack of understanding people have of comments made by others. What do you think I think, haven? And what does "trade value in relation to his actual talents" mean for a max player?

Fisher sucks but he at least knows his own capabilities. Meaning, he does not try to do too much. Unfortunately, I cant say that about our PG.

funny how you accuse us of not watching other teams play (which couldn't befurther from the truth, btw), yet fail to offer anyone who is actually worse than francis.
