Not double jeopardy in the least. He stood in a courtroom one time only on each count. How do you feel about elderly Nazi death camp guards? Should they have men able to skate 15-20 years after the deed in the 1960's because the charges were too old?
I know it's not technically double jeopardy. It only seems like it is. My view is that the powers that be would keep bringing charges, moving venues, until they could place Mr. Black Conservative Truth Talker behind bars. And they finally succeeded.
I don't understand why you keeping bring up the circumstances under which the women were drugged. Agreeing to take a quaalude ≠ consenting to sexual activity.
Dear God. It was moved to the D&D because of your blue pill comment. Politics are not discussed outside of the D&D. It doesn’t have anything to do with what I want. It’s a long standing rule on here that anyone that pays attention is aware of. I can’t dumb this down any further.
Look, I'm happy to let this go. But I think you don't know the definitions of blue and red pill, which is probably a key part of our disagreement. About the placement of the thread -- Cosby became political probably 10 years ago at least, so not sure how OP would think that thread could be anything other than political.
That certainly does happen and it is a problem. I'd point out that often times in those situations, the condemned have had insufficient legal representation. That was not Cosby's problem. In fact, when he was rich and famous, he used good lawyers to bury these accusations, which is the reason why we're decades late on putting him in jail in the first place.
