Damn those Texans not playing mistake free football. Why can't they play like the 85-86 Bears or the 89-90 49ers? And what gives them the audacity to have injuries? The nerve of them.

I will take any road win during a holiday on 4 days rest with another 5 quarters played.

I like scanning other team's forums. Looks like the Patriots talk about the Texans the most in the AFC. I would love to soundly beat New England. Screw these Patriot fans.

There is absolutely nothing misleading (or lucky) about 10-1.

The last 2 games were automatic losses before 2011. They aren't now and there is a reason for that. We are a damn good team.

But if our defense does play like it has the last two weeks, we will get thrashed by NE. Hopefully they pick it back up.

Agreed no team plays perfect ball and no team is perfect all of the time in all facets of the game. I'm worried about the defense after the last two games but with 10 days till the next game and getting JJo back I think we will be fine.

The Patsies can talk all they want...The truth is that the Texans D has been not very good...but that doesnt mean that the Texans wont show up in foxboro...ill be going to that game..so im mad excited...but even if we lose...im not worried about the Patriots...till the playoffs...I would sacrifice a regular season loss to the Patsies...all in the name of a rematch with them for the AFC title...trust me...The Texans will bring it this playoffs...something tells me that the way they played Baltimore last season is very fresh on their minds...A healthy Schaub last year would have faced Tom last year...for the AFC crown...AJ is clicking, and the team is finding ways to win games we werent supposed to...

You create your own destiny...but having a bit of Luck isnt a bad thing...;) GO TEXANS

Pats could beat us, but they will not be able to destroy us. We won't be turning the ball over like the Jets or Colts.

I think our D gets out of it's funk, puts some big hits on pretty boy, Foster has a good rushing game, and we squeak out a winner.

Look at what the Seahawks did to them.

Regular season records mean nothing. The only way to earn respect is to win the super bowl.

There is certainly no reason for overconfidence. Two teams with losing records just lit up our defense which will have to play much better in Foxboro. The team has ten days to get healthy, which is a good thing. Remember 10-6 is still a mathematical possibility and would likely make the Texans a wildcard team like last year but maybe without home field. I am hopeful of much more, but they have to really come together and improve defensively. Looks like the offense can hang points on just about anybody.

History would suggest otherwise, that close games really are a factor of luck more than skill. So to say we should be confident about 10-1 is a bit homerish.

That said, it's not about how you play 11 games in, but rather in the playoffs. And two things still give a team a leg up: the bye and home field. You think the Patriots go to the Super Bowl last year if they p,ayed in Baltimore for the title game? Of course not. So the Texans winning ugly for a #1 seed still vastly he their chances even if they're not as good.

something tells me that this team has another gear...Arian Foster has yet to have a really explosive game...he has been mister consistent...chugging up yards and carries...(mind you without Tate for quite a bit)

Good to have haters. Means you've actually done something when a bunch of other fans start hating your team. Patriot fans should know that.

Wait. The Patriot fans are talking about some other team's defense with their team's D as bad as it is? And they're talking about struggling to beat bad teams after their team almost lost to Buffalo last week and close games vs the Jets?

    Okay

have you read some of posters here?

people posting that they are not scared of New England in the playoffs, so its the same. Fans are confident in their team.

they are scared of Manning, but not Brady. I dont know why.

    We already beat the Broncos.

    Manning in playoffs: 9-10
    Brady in the playoffs: 16-6

I really think New England is the only team in the AFC that can beat the Texans in Houston, in the playoffs.

New England's point differential is mostly due to them trying to run up the scores on teams. When Kubiak has a 2 touchdown lead he runs the ball the rest of the game. The Patriots just keep throwing bombs. In other words, New England isn't as good as their scores show. I fear Denver more than New England too.

I want to see what we do to the titans after 10 days rest.

Hopefully we get an easy win to rest our players.

New England game will be key. But everyone has continuously dogged Houston and all we do is keep winning. There is NO team in the NFL that is unbeatable but the Texans are the most balanced.

These last 2 weeks have been great for the offense to gain their swagger back. Shaub is in rhythm. As soon as the D gets better, this team will be stronger over all.
