I hate to say it but I think we're close to the season being over, not because of our record necessarily but rather how we're playing, the lack of leadership, and the fact that we need a fundamental change in how we play. I feel like we're in some Steve Francis/Cuttino Mobley time warp.
I don't know about the season but the team is likely over - there will be a fire sale soon and I don't think anyone is safe. I doubt they bother with Dwight too. This team is about to change drastically...
Honestly that's fine for me. I'm cool building around Harden, he may not be a "Batman" but he'd make one hell of a "Robin"
i always wondered what percentage of that payment goes towards nba refs' salaries (sorry for salt rub in, DoD  )
It feels over because there is just no hope in this roster. This season was a disaster from the beginning and the organization went into this season resting on their laurels after lucking out in the playoffs last year.
I hate being envious of Mavs fans. They're enjoying a fun season so far with limited expectations and this team is the biggest bust in the NBA right now. Can't believe last season was such a fluke.
Probably. I'm not quite ready to write them off since D-Mo has yet to play and Bev is about to return, but the schedule alone is likely gonna doom this team. Remember, this is the easy part and they're squandering a ton of opportunities against lightweight opponents, particularly at home. Once X-Mas arrives and the schedule gets really tough the rest of the season, they're screwed even if everyone's back and healthy.
