Is the relationship with Ryno salvageable if we attain Melo via buyout?

    We need to simply be worried if Ryan Anderson's role on the team can be salvaged once no trade for Carmelo goes through. We're dealing with the Knicks here.

    I think he is alright he got paid anyway and he knows this is a business.
    I just hate that we are just trading him after Morey tried so many times to get him
    Ryan is a nice guy hate to trade him but is the best for the team. We need to trade him so we can add Melo and so that Paul stays too.


    But at least Morey is getting better at recognizing his target players aren't always best for the team.
    He learned that with Dwight. He also kinda mention it last time he was with Bill Simmons.

    I like Ryan Anderson and if a Melo deal does happen we will miss some of the spacing Ryno provided even if he wasnt shooting the ball.

    But I do not think Ryno minds at all about stuff like trades and all. He is a professional. Does he want to stay in Houston vs NYC I believe he does BUT the dude got paid big time and will get to play in a huge market. I doubt there would be 'bad blood' I mean if we traded Ryno for PJ Tucker I could see him getting kind of upset because he probably feels he is a better player than Tucker but its Melo. I think Ryno understands even right now Melo is still a better player than he is.

    He's overpaid and he knows it. This happens in other professions. Your job is to produce enough to be worth your contract. If you don't, other people will say as much or behave accordingly, and you have no right to complain. If I were untradeable because of my underperformance relative to contract, I'd be ashamed.
