THREE lines. Not single spaced... double spaced. RED. Regular font. Gosh, man, it takes up 50% of that first page. Seriously, why?
Apparently house of payne is like the highest rated cable comedy series ever, yet I know absolutely NO ONE that watches it. And it was good enough to have a spin off!
^^^No, I think you're funny, I think I have a crush. I always appreciate you're constructive criticism.
Wow, basic cable and post-Cosby black sitcoms: talk about irrelevance squared. As soon as TBS learns how to program for white teenagers, produce reality television, or just get re-runs of better shows, they'll move all these minority shows on the same night and starve them with no advertising. The WB in the late '90s had Steve Harvey, Jamie Foxx, Cedric the Entertainer and Marlon and Shawn Wayans on all at the same time; but every new promo they made was 5 minutes of Barry Watson and James VanderBeek.
I watched his "Why You Crying" special a few years back and almost laughed myself a mini-stroke. "Dey's a pain-in-my-chesss, an' I can' breev..." "You no' gonna wai' for me?" Impersonating his kids: "ew my gawd. That is seeew Mexican."
I don't know how long ago that was, but his early work wasn't that bad, but he has definitely worn himself thin.
Bill Engvall, Frank TV, My Boys.... BTW, TBS is starting a stand up show called The Very Funny Show next Thursday at midnight. Henry Cho, who is hilarious, is the first comedian to perform.
Not hating just my opinion; George Lopez is over-rated. The fact that he is Hispanic is why i think people like him.
Yeah, I think Perry makes something like $100 mil a year or something ridiculous like that. When you own and are involved in every facet of these properties most of the money goes straight to him so his movies or shows don't have to be blockbusters to make a killing. What I really don't get is Comedy Central giving a show to that puppet dude. HIS STAND UP IS A VENTRILOQUIST ACT. THAT'S NEVER BEEN FUNNY IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND. But then again plenty of people will watch this crap too.
