Laker fans hate Smush much more than Rockets fans hate Rafer. And they have their reason after watching him play game after game.

Shooting is possibly the only thing Smush does better than Rafer. That hasn't counted defense yet. As poor a defender as Rafer is, he's still miles ahead of Smush.

I have to laugh at people who think shooting better than Rafer is all a player need to make him a better "fit" on Rockets. For shooting 3s only, Luther Head is better than Smush. Battier, of course is also much better shooting wise. But can Head and Battier run Rox offense better than Rafer? Of course not.

Don't wanna pile on here but there is no way in heeeeeell Smush Parker is better than Rafer let alone a better fit for the Rockets. The reason he takes less shots than Rafer...we saw him in action in LA, the same guy that took HALF of the lakers attempts, I'd be scared to see what kinda shot numbers Smush would crank up for the Rockets. An even scarier number might be his turnovers if forced to bring the ball upcourt alone like Rafer does all game...guarenteed 1-2 easy swipes in the backcourt. I'll give it to him that I've liked his on the ball defense but that is about it...team defense and running an offense are something that are waaay over his head, but what can you really expect from someone named Smush?

Smush is not involved at all when not on the floor & sulks when off the floor. He doesn't play team defence, therefore JVG would sit him on the other side of Bonzi and V-Span. It's hard to get open shots while on the bench.

LOL HAVE YOU SEEN SMUSH PLAY?

Anyone who thinks Smush can handle our offense better than Rafer is OUT OF THEIR MIND. Rafer is NOT a great player sure, but he is 36% from 3 which is solid, im not sure what Smush is but doesn't matter that much, Smush got benched on a lakers team that needs a PG MORE THAN THE ROCKETS. Imagine that for a second.

Smush is a JOKE. You guys are the same people that will try to run smush out of town within 2 weeks when you realize how bad he is.

rockets fans will never learn. every body wants the rockets to get all these useless wing players, and point guards, and we still have a sh!tty starting power forward. calros boozer, and zach randolph sh!tted on the rockets all because van gundy refuses to get a power forward.

    Pretty much sums it up.

At least Rafer can be called a real point guard. Smush doesn't even deserve the title. I sometimes wonder how it is that he's still starting on an NBA team.
