Actually im reconsidering this. Smush is much better inside the 3 point line than Rafer and is a little bit better from 3. Its nothing great, but its improvement from the garbage we have running hte point now.

Listen to yourselves. Smush Parker???? Smush?? Smush f'in Parker?? I'd rather have Kevin Ollie and Eric Snow. I even prefer Vspan to start over this dude. F*** that, give me Candace Parker. I know every living being in LA, including the roaches and rats would pull the trigger on a Rafer-Smush swap. Even the **** that Phil Jax flushed down the toilet would make that deal. This is a disgrace of Rafer hate. People here actually consider Smush as our PG  This is mind boggling to the nth degree.

You gotta have Smush for brains if you think he will do anything to make this team so much as 0.00000000000000001% better.

Rafer with a bad attitude and problems with coach = Smush

In other words, Smush is even worse than Rafer

There's a reason why every single Lakers fan is calling for Parker's head right now.

Steve Blake may be the only thing on the market that might actually challenge Rafer for his starting spot.

I wouldn't play Smush in front of JL3 or Billy.

Haha. That's either an absurdly hyperbolic complement or damning faint praise. I'm not really sure at this point.

Yeah, but has Rafer ever argued with the coach?

Smush hasn't played in the entire 4th quarter in today's game because according to the announcers, he wasn't playing defense and had 5 TOs.

So Smush = Rafer with no D and attitude

    Um, no. 1-5 from the field, 1-4 3PT, 3 pts in 23+ minutes. I don't think so.

Does he even need to considering he is averaging 37 mpg?

Why should he argue when coach has given him green light to chuck up as many floaters as his heart desires?

Why should he argue when the coach wont hold him accountable no matter how many times he gets burned on defense?

I am not going to mention the 3 pointers (but I just did!) since the system requires him to take open 3s.

Hey, If I was Rafer I would just shut up and keep living the high life. Thats what he is doing and I dont blame him for not arguing.

It's like your boss rewarding you with a Ferrari Modena 360, a Beverly Hills Mansion, and a $50,000 weekly check just to pour him/her a glass of tap water every night before they go to sleep. To top it off you take a piss in that glass when the sucker isnt looking.

But for Godsakes, you never ever argue!!!!

You only start when the b*stard stops paying for your Ferrari's insurance.

Why would he ever argue with JVG when JVG plays him 40 mins a game? Rafer has problems with coaches when things don't go his way - see toronto and the reason he was shipped out.

You will have to try something other than milk carton.

Milk carton has been busy with Juwan Howard.

Anyone who has watched a few Lakers games this season and thinks Smush would be a good fit here needs their head examined. It's a lock cinch guarantee that he will do something completely boneheaded in the 4th quarter of a close game. Anything from airballing a wide open 15 footer to throwing a pass into the 3rd row to airballing a layup. He fairly gifted as a player if you just look at his athleticism and skillset by themselves. But what he has between the ears is the problem and it's a BIG problem. A much bigger problem than Rafer has.
