Another Brother - We could go on like this ad nauseam, which it seems like we already have. I think you are racist. Period. I have studied enough psychology to have a very good understanding of the determinants of motivation, as well as the behavioral reactions to various stimuli. Your behavior is *textbook*. While you may win the *popularity* contest on this board and get a lot of people to rise to your defense, the argument we are having is not grounded in popularity. It is grounded in a well-established pattern of behavior and reactions. Many have come to your defense, but *many* have been silent. From their perspective, it is not worth expending political capital on this board to risk entering a racial debate. Others simply do not have the experience to recognize your outright racism. I do. I called you out on it, you deny it, but I am absolutely convinced it exists. Nothing will change my opinion. Your response to my questions was simply laughable. It was a classic example of dodging the true issues by inserting humor, changing the subject and using demagoguery (charity work). The facts remain. You continually post racially charged issues. You continually defend your own race despite overwhelming evidence against your position. You repeatedly stereotype other races both in your posts as well as in your act. If anyone would like confirmation of this, I recommend listening to AB’s cd on the net, which can be accessed through his profile. Honestly, the man’s jokes make Reggie White seem politically correct by comparison. You insult the way Chinese people drive. You insult the way Chinese people talk. You accuse whites of being racist. You flagrantly take advantage of the racial-stereotyping “free pass” afforded to blacks as a result of white guilt. Hypocrisy at its finest. I have nothing more to say on this matter.
I think I speak for the vast majority of the board when I say I hope that this is true for any other matter. You're not liked or wanted. You are a joke.

I would argue that TJ is liked AND wanted on the board. He has many keen insights and well thought out posts which many readers appreciate. Just because someone posts opinions/beliefs which are contrary to your own is not a reason to "speak for the vast majority of the board" and declare that he's a joke. I suspect many others on the boards share his views but are scared off by hawks such as yourself to agree with him or post something similar.
It's an internet BBS. Some people seem to have lost sight of that. T_J talks about "political capital on this board". In my opinion, and I'm sorry if I don't have enough political capital, Trader_Jorge always comes across as arrogant to me. I can't say I've ever thought of Another Brother as being racist. Perhaps I should listen to the CD, but I'm not really bothered enough by AB to be bothered right now.
There are numerous posters with whom I disagree with but enjoy having on the board. T_J's a jerk. Most everyone sees that.
I can't speak for others...I speak for myself. I do value his obvious intelligence and even have learned stuff from reading his posts but, sometimes when you are not right, take it like a man and admit it. He does not. I feel that it is because he is too arrogant to actually believe that he doesn't know everything. and ppl like that are normally too irritating to be around for any length of time. I don't presume to speak for the majority, or the minority...I speak for me...this is just one man's opinion and should be taken as such.
Ironic use of "hawks," actually. I think the point for a lot of people is one of simple decency and respect. From what I've seen over the last few months, he has been nearly an equal-opportunity offender, as several more conservative posters could attest. I would agree that T_J has posted many nicely crafted posts. But then, for posters like myself, you have to give up on dialogue if you don't agree with him 100%, and that's not very interesting after you digest the basic schtick. Still, those of us who might be "nicer" or better behaved or more humanitarian shouldn't ignore the reality that T_J represents a powerful mindset in the US of A. I'll always give him props for speaking his mind honestly, even if it's disturbing. (Context: this entire preachy post is coming from a b*stard who told Mrs. JB, the world's kindest, most considerate poster to, um, "step off," at the end of 2002 as I defended joking about suicide.
