Crisco, In another thread kidrock8 said he thought she was talking about her looks too much (to put it mildly). He was being a total ass about it, and did it in a very poor way. I agreed with his message (somewhat) but not his means. Ali Cat took it as an attack. I was just making an observation. I hope that I have not aided in the lack of female posters coming to the board. Maybe, I shouldn't have agreed with him. ahh, I see Ali. Still, kidrock is the exception to the typical poster here. Out of the hundreds of posters here, yeah there are some bad apples. There are people like this on every BBS I've encountered. To say that women don't post here because people aren't nice is a little unfair though. I think it's safer to say that there just aren't that many women diehard Rocket fans that are as obsessed as the people on the BBS. ------------------ snap crackle pop
Back to the subject... well, sort of. Believe it or not: I went to Rice. I even play in the MOB sometimes. I have long hair. And I am not HeyPartner, Jeff, or Ali. As for why more women don't post on the bbs, I think y'all have it figured out. Everyone here seems to mean well, but it's hard to tell on the Internet what people mean. And it's kind of scary to go into an all-male BBS and be the only female. I don't always have that much to say about the Rockets now that I can't get the games on TV, but I'm trying to come out of lurk mode. Hang in there ali cat.
