Couldn't they have propped them back with some popsicle sticks and chewing gum? If not, I don't see surgery as a bad alternative. If you know you're going to do it eventually, may as well do it at 7.
i bet she will have to have a few more surgeries on those ears during her lifetime. exactly. i dont see how anyone can criticize the parents for this.
If it's cosmetic, I'd say yes and not for ethical reasons. The face changes, too, as you grow up. A "defect" now may be part of what makes you beautiful when you're fully grown.
