Yeah, Philly is a baby-NYC. Downtown to downtown is only 90 miles apart.

Very similar dialect, congestion, old-looking buildings, and the subway.

One of the weirdest things about the area is many of their Wal-Mart's close. I walked in one night and all the employees were staring at me. I was like, "what?". They said they were closed. I'd never experienced that anywhere else in the country.

Is "feeder road" only a HOU phrase?

The entire state has them, even small cities like Lubbock and Midland. The miles in between cities mostly have access roads too.

This is one of the reasons why Texas has the best roads in the entire country, by far. Other states don't really feature separate "U turn" lanes either.

Not sure where you live now, but if you live in Texas, going to Pittsburgh would definitely be a downgrade.

Texas has some of the best weather and the most beautiful women. Why move to a northern state where you're going to freeze your ass off and pay a state income tax for the privilege. I don't get it.
