Are you guys crazy? Parsons should be a Rocket for life. This team is just so tightly knit together and Parsons also helped get Dwight here. So he had a big mouth and didn't show up until later in the series when it was a little too late (so did Haren I mean Harden). Parsons is STAYING.
I don't know why I always end up cutting my posts short. I want to add he still has upside and can definitely defend when he wants to. And boy can he light it up! 10 3s against Memphis I think it was? Guys he is YOUNG and still growing dammit
If he is, the Rockets wing defense will be laughable for years. I like Parsons, but him and Harden together might not be the best fit.
No, would rather have Melo, who is better offensively and defensively Parsons 10-12 million Or Melo 14-16 million
I hope we keep him long term... He's been here the longest, he's almost like a home town guy (even though he's not) I just live his game and what he brings to the table on and off the court.
Don't get me wrong....I want Parsons on this team. But do you really run with a lineup of Harden/Parsons/Love? Just seems like a better version of Minnesota, which isn't good enough to make the finals.
me Apparently we won't get that. Regrettably, Mchale has made me and everyone yelling for his departure look like a genius. This is one time where I painfully wish that I was wrong. Mchale as nice a guy as he is should have never been hired, it was a real head scratch er.
Parsons is a very important piece to this team...we will only give him up for a future star, which Parsons is in my opinion. The White Horry should stay in Houston.
As much as we all love Parsons, we need a stopper on the wing next to Harden. Unless we get a Corey Brewer-type as our 6th man I don't see a scenario where this team wins a title with Parsons and Harden partnered.
Not sure why people want to attack the strengths of the team rather than the weak areas. Parsons has been great and is a perfect fit.
We need defensively active Parsons. Sign a free agent like Ray Allen/Paul Pierce/Shawn Marion/Luol Deng or Kyle Lowry, then go over the cap to match Parsons' restricted free agent offer. This is the only way we can make him play defense again and stop focusing on just above average offense.
