Firstly with tmac, he has said before the season started and even in interviews today that he is not 100%. Also, i would not call his decline in explosiveness a direct result of age, but rather injury. He is not the skinny, jump out of the building, scoring champ that he was. He, trainers and coaches are always afraid of a relapse in back spasms or God knows what else.

As for Yao. I really don't know. In the last 3 games, yao pretty much has the offensive ability as Drew Gooden. Against the Lakers i could understand (their interior defense being the the bes i have ever seen), but that is unexceptable against Chris Kamen, Perkins, or whoever that that ****er from portland was. Especially without Oden.

Im far more concerned about rebounding though.

Chuck Hayes is not a center.

if you saw the boston and blazers game and compares to how tracy played the lsat 2 games, it's the lack of penetration. i think his mentality to turn it on some reg. season games and turn if off is REALLY frustrating and stupid.

but the thing is he had these injuries last yr and performed at a high level in the playoffs. i think at this stage of tmac's career, that's all we can hope for. that he can save energy and perform in the playoffs.

i don't think we can expect a tracy who can consistently dominate in the reg. season. it's just not gonna happen.

as for yao, i think he's trying his hardest out there. something is just not right. i hope it's just a slumps.
