We once had a backcourt rotation of James Harden, Chris Paul, and Eric Gordon. Maybe they weren't big but I feel like most teams would be more than happy with that as a backcourt rotation.

I'm optimistic about KPJ's development for sure. But I think he's the one that gets squeezed for touches and usage when the pecking order eventually becomes Jalen, top 5 pick, alpy.

makes me wonder if he eventually finds more usage as a 6th man leading the second unit, but then again I see josh coming for that role.

what if we end up with the 4th or 5th pick and take Ivey because he's the BPA?

lots to figure out, so I don't think I can consider anything set just yet.

I haven't kept up with all the games this season, but the Lakers game was probably the most comfortable I've seen Porter look as a PG.
A lot of the points in the OT was due to Porter setting up his teammates instead of looking for his own shot.

That said, I'm not sure it would be the best move to keep him as the starting PG next season. He's definitely learning, though.

Id trade em all ( except Green) and Gordon for the pick to obtain Ivey in a heartbeat.. Then resign Schroeder after he's waived..

They deserve more time to develop. KPJ has been racking up assists but I still don’t see an orchestrated offense. I did like the sets against the LAL where they switched pnr with Sengun between KPJ and Green and they fed Alpi in the post. If Green meets his potential while KPJ can continue to improve you can win with this backcourt. But you will need a star forward.

Jaygup needs more minutes as well as he flashes a lot of potential. I think we all agree that we don’t need to add any backcourt pieces right now and need a 3 or 4 upgrade badly. Looking forward to seeing Chet or Smith next year!

If you are coming off a championship run or championship then that would be calling it set.

NBA tankathon keeps pushing for the Rockets to
pick a shooting guard with that Nets pick

Dyson Daniels (G-league Ignite) and now Beauchamp (G-league) this morning

Why? I like Green and Mathews and Armoni Brooks is a good cheap return.

They have the players listed in order of rank. They update it every few days. I pay no attention to that.

    Don't forget about Nix.

I think they should go with two frontcourt players unless something really strange happens..

    KPJ & Porter
I think stone is rolling with KPJ as long as he continues to improve little by little and doesn’t do some dumb ****. Having to publicly deal with why he told John to sit down, who probably would of been better for greens development, for a kid who has had trouble everywhere he goes. I think stone likes having two well size and talented combo guards. Green is going to demand that ball more in the coming years so we don’t need some Chris Paul or rondo type point. I think stone rolls with them two until it becomes a obvious problem.

I do see stone focusing all his attention on forwards in the draft. He wouldn’t waste it on Ivey. Even if we got the 4th pick, I think stone would trade wood & unload a fair amount of our accumulated picks to get jabari. We have KPJ/green/Sengun and obviously need to address the undersized forward situation we have

Practically everyone in the backcourt can be upgraded, but at the same time everyone in the backcourt has a lot of room for growth based on their potential, and expectations.

Guys like Green have all world potential, and he particularly has shown it. But, he’s a guy that can electrifying enthuse a crowd.

But watching basketball for so long, what are the chances that 5 guys with potential all pan out? Generally there is strength in numbers. But it’s hardly ever even 50-50…

I think all Nix, Green, Christopher and KPJ can also matchup defensively against a lot of players at the 3.

In my opinion there is room for all four of them going forward.

We need a true PG who can handle the ball better. The more I think about it, the more I’d like to see them try KPJ at the 3. He has too much ability to give up on, and I like that he has improved at the point, but I just don’t seem him there as a starter long term.

We probably wouldn't be 17-50 if we had our back court of the future in place. If we draft Ivey this year to pair with Green, perhaps then.
