yet another stupid rule (not being able to trade consecutive first rounders). Why not make it so that a team cannot trade more than 2 consecutive? That seems to make a ton more sense, although it still treats teams like babies.
Some of you guys need to learn to read. I am not hating on him anywhere in my original post. I am just asking on opinions of DM and the current value he has for Twill as opposed to the value he would have in the added draft pick to trade and the additonial flexibility. In fact, like I said before, I think Twill will be good one day.
We do not get to see what goes on at practice. It is all nice to speculate about how good a player is or the flipside how bad, but the coaching staff actually sees it. Then there is also chemistry. Adelman has his rotations and while injuries has forced him to make large amounts of changes to his rotation, there is still the chemistry issue of all the players on the floor always knowing that the others are going to do. Adelman's system isnt learned overnight either. We do not know how well TWill is fitting in. Still, he isnt going to be the savior of the franchise either.
Who's to say T-Will isn't apart of the trade for Melo. Obviously Denver would need a SF after losing Melo and maybe if T-Will were still in NJ, Denver would have wanted him in the deal then. Either way, whether it be here or somewhere else, T-Will should be playing real soon!
adelman made the deal for Twill. He makes all the deals for this team because he watched the players during his time away from coaching so that he can instruct Morey. Ask Aaron Brooks.
Why don't people understand that the Rockets don't usually play their new rookies for awhile??????????????????? We've gone through this with Brooks, Landry, Wafer, Budinger, Dorsey, Patterson and now it's Twill's turn.... I know Twill isn't a rookie.. but still a very young player thats new to our system/team.
TWill wont play for the rest of this season as for Adelmans usual practice. Same for Patrick. Thats just the way Adelman does his rookies and new players. It takes time for them to get more minutes. If other GMs and scouts from other teams and our fans dont know this by now? They just havent been paying attention at all.
Terrence Williams: Already used up 1.5 years of his rookie contract Up-and-down play on a TERRIBLE team Questionable attitude Patrick Patterson: Four full years on his rookie contract Never played a minute of NBA basketball High IQ + Intangibles A poor comparison.
Adelman doesn't like playing OUT OF CONTROL young guys... Twill needs to calm down and play within himself and the team and he will play. We actually need his skillset big time. DD
I think we'll give him a full summer and training camp+preseason and then we can start assessing what we got. So no regretss at all just yet. And the way things are going, we'll be only giving a 2nd round pick for him anyways. Edit: Sorry. Didn't read the post fully. About the draft pick obligations hindering us, I don't know.
