Teams would trade first round picks to get Morrey if they could.

Lol. Trust me, no team wants Moreyball. Most teams have actual plays that get everyone involved. Morey's still a good GM tho

From his shaken look at the press conference today, I would bet Les told him that he's next.

    Wow, such ignorance.

I can't believe people still don't understand what Moreyball is.

He better not be on any hot seat. He is one of the best GMs around.

Yes, I think Morey should feel the pressure.
No, I do not think Morey is one of the best GM. Average is the right word.

That was wrong info. I believer that McHale was the result of Morey's connection in Boston.
btw, McHale was not a big name after he coached in MN.

So 31 GMs should be in the hot seat after every season?

So...Adelman was let go...for a guy with minimal coaching experience? Adleman was a bigger name than McHale in the coaching world.

Well Morey picked McHale(Best Win % in franchise history)

Made the most lopsided trade of all time possibly for James Harden.

    Acquired Dwight Howard

Got Smith and Brewer mid season who propelled your team to the WCF.

Morey is no where near the hot seat.

Morey could never be. He's constantly made this team fun to watch for along time. Even in the bad years/rebuilding we had exciting badketball.

No way! Morey is human and makes mistakes like everybody does and McHale could fairly be called a "mistake", but Morey is the reason why we have a team that can be considered a contender or close to that in the first place. I would think his credit rating with Alexander is very high, he would need to do something very very very stupid to be fired, and no, trusting in a coach that for better or worse got you to a WC final is not "very very very stupid".

I believe McHale's time in HOU just ran its course, the team was not responding to him as a motivator anymore and he is no tactician, now we need someone else that can take us to the next level, the talent is there.

Well - seems like Cyber confirmed it.....I hope Les thinks a little bit, maybe he keeps Morey but has someone that is a partner of his for coaching hires etc...??
