was the personal crack *really* necessary? thumbs makes mistakes sometimes like we all do, but overall he is a decent guy and a good member of this board. let us know when you have amassed a track record of perfection...o k?
I allways got the Impression Foy wa a 2 guard. but anyway. Foy/Jaric Davis/Green Gomes/Brewer Jefferson/Howard Blount/Theo Thats a solid team, but they lack a genuine super star who can carry them. however once theo' contract expiers, they'll be a major player in the free agency market. McFail may have for once got a winner. it's a 3 year process, but there future is bright.
Trades involving a superstar in basketball rarely help the team that traded the superstar away. Long term maybe but usually not short term. I don't see Minnesota being built like anything more than the Bobcats or Trailblazers of the past few years. They'll probably end up being a slightly better recent years version Celtics of the West.
No offense to Minn, but what else can you do if your a sports fan in Minnessota after the Twins season is over? The Vikings stink. and the Timberwolves stink, but the wolves have younger players who may stay there and develop. They won't be good this year, but that means they'll probably get a top draft pick again.
Damn. that lineup sucks ass. If Yao, Tmac, Battier, and Francis were injured...then we'd be pretty close to their calibur. Otherwise, worrying about them is the last thing we should be thinking about.
Are you saying if rockets can't handle the wolves then they will have the west's worst record with wolves being 2nd worst?
Foye Jaric Telfair (Hudson/working on buyout) Hassell McCants Green Davis Gomes Brewer Jefferson Smith JHo Ratliff Blount Madsen
Maybe rocketsjudoka or sishir can answer that. I heard they just lurk on message boards w/ multiple identities.
I'm just a bit ticked off that the made another team strong. Why trade Garnett to the C's? Couldn't they have shipped the guy off to the Hawks? Although it will make the finals much more interesting now that we don't have to watch Lebron James play the Spurs. I think they got the most they could although if things turn out good for the C's (which it likely will), those first round picks are gonna be low.
Yes. This is the season Gerald Green breaks out. He now has the chance to be the man in Minny. The Rox always struggle with quicker teams and this team just got quicker. I still think the Rox should sweep Minny but the games should be close.
I dun think I would even have to think about it... Let's worry about how to deal with Celtics when we meet them in Finals...
Shipping Garnett anywhere would make a team strong. Just about every other team had a more promising roster than Minnesota.
This is now bad team in the talented western conference. they need to have maturity and improvements within their team.. for me, they will be in the lottery for three to five years..
