Is mike wallace worth a 1st rounder?

    I was kinda thinking wallace might be worth a try, but he is clearly looking for too much money. Combine that with the pick, it's simply not worth it.


    We could afford it this year, but it would ruin all that space we need nest year. Just get a burner in the 1st or 2nd rd.


    I didn't realize it, but the 4th rd pick we got from philly, was actually Tampas 4th rd pick, so its high in the 4th round, basically a 3rd rd pick. Now we have 5 picks in the first 98. That gives us a lot of flexibility to grab us a WR or 2.

    Losing the pick is the same as drafting Wallace with the first pick.

    yeah, this isnt happening. He wants more than what Fitzgerald is making.

    i know it probably won't happen, but what happens if he ends up signing after the draft? Does Pittsburgh just get next years draft pick? Or what if the team that signs him doesn't have a first rounder?
