Charles! He did 3 things that would make him significant. 1. He played for like 2million/year so that Pippen (worst rocket of all time) could come. He cared about winning. 2. We finally beat Seattle with Barkley 3. He was EASILY our best player in the later years, Clyde COULDNT DUNK (remember the laker series??) and Dream stopped doing the shake or fade-away
Hmmm, are you referring to the 1996 Western Conference First Round Series between the Lakers and Rockets? Clyde was still terrific, though IMO. Dream not doing the shake and fadeaway, are you referring to the '98-'99 lockout shortened season? I remember some slick moves Dream had against Shaq in the regular season during the '97-'98 season.
Barkley was immediately our best player in the post. Dream starting losing his quickness and started to not use some of his patented moves. I never understood why he stopped the baseline fadeaway that destroyed the new york knicks. Barkley on the other hand, could not be stopped in the paint. 'backin it in, backin it in' also do you remember barkley's 30 rebound game???? oh those were the days.
Yes it is too early. Moses, Elvin Hayes and Hakeem are all higher on the scale, imo, than T-Mac. And I don't think that's any disrespect to the man, who has mad skillz, but all 3 of the above won championships. David.
Lionheart, You best have a good argument, because you are being blasted with facts. Clyde the Glide Drexler is one of the best to ever suit up in the NBA. If you don't agree...PROVE IT ! DD
