If SF3 could get voted in all those years I have no doubt that Tracy will. Will he deserve it? Probably not. He is more streaky than I've ever seen him(and he's always been really streaky). I hope that when he makes it it will be because he deserves it(only because that bodes well for the Rockets).

Good night all...sorry for posting drunk.............

    any ideas about Head?
he gives me a feeling that maybe he cannot be a superstar, but at least a NBA star in the future!
    he had some clutch time
also some great performance with Yao
he cannot be involved in any trade......

Head will never be a superstar. He doesn't dribble very well and works better without the ball. He'll be good though.

T-Mac will be back gradually, give him more time.
BTW, I like his performance for the time being cause we won a lot with it.

If Tracy cannot be considered one, Rockets has none. Yao has never been, though he may be some day if he keeps improving himself, and finally muc less TO, better pass, better defense and a higher and more consistent FG%.

A superstar will always be a superstar...of course, T-mac hasn't been playing very superstar like, but cmon, its early in the season..I think we should reserve the judgement until early March.

In the meantime, enjoy this SICK windmill dunk T-mac did during the 06 All-Star game (yes, 2006 All-Star game...a bit over half a year ago..T-Mac couldn't have changed that much in this short of a period? We have to believe that he's still got it!)

What would our record be without T-Mac? Would we even be a .500 team? Enough said.

I had to do a double-take when I saw this thread, until I saw who the author was. Why is your name McGradySNKT when you're always posting negative things about T-Mac?

Or does SNKT mean something we don't know, like SnakeTrash?

    Posting negative things about Tmac?

You have the wrong poster. JVG's adjustment maybe, but Tmac no. I want him to play to his ablities and not lose what the team traded for him for in the 1st place. They traded for Mcgrady, not Jason Kidd.

your joking right? you put Melo as a second level wing despite how he is totally destroying Wade at this current point in time? oh did i mention that Melo is winning like T-mac is? Noone here seems to think Dwayne Wade isn't a superstar despite his obvious Heat struggles right now. Why does Mcgrady cop so much flak from his own fans despite a winning % oh and his doing it coasting as mentioned before. I'm pretty sure in the playoffs he won't be worrying about his back, he'll be worrying about in what way is he going to dunk on someone.

haven't read all the posts, but here's my 2cents. he is not longer a superstar in terms of finishing on offense, but the other teams don't know that. so they react to his slashes and drives to the basket strongly and this creates for our whole team and makes our crappy offense look ok for awhile. but, if he resorts to outside jumpers, esp when his shots aren't falling, he hurts our team.

Of course T-mac is still a super star - that status doesn't get taken away from you in 20 games!

    Well, let's take the given:

Tmac has been a superstar for each of the last 7 years.

What changed this year to make him lose that status?

He has all the physical attributes he had last year, plus he's quarterbacking on offense a little bit more. He's playing better defense too.

He is not playing all out every game and he's missing shots. Both of those are controllable.

I think Tmac is better than ever. It is just taking him a little time to get all the aspects of his game together coming back from the injury.

Other than the inconsistency, I don't know what the fuss is all about. He's been playing great, but in stretches this season. He's been dismantling half court defenses (San Antonio first half, Golden State, Bulls, Miami)

He's the best halfcourt perimeter offensive player in the league. How many easy baskets do Wade, Carmelo, Lebron get in transition because of the style their teams play?

Tmac will outplay all 3 of those guys in halfcourt.

    WOW
I cannot believe the populist views by some of you guys. T-Mac is the creator of the McMircacle! 13 in 35....anybody remember that?

Of course he is a superstar, you don't get consistently double teamed if your aren't one do you?... :D

His current per game average this year in (35) mins per games after (19) games is:

    18.7 pts (26th) ~ 5.6 rebs (78th) ~ 6.5 ast (13th) ~ 1 stl (67th)

Last time I checked that was pretty darn good.

    I believe in T-Macs greatness!!!

If Yao was not dominating as he is now and the 2nd option as he was in T-Mac's first and half seasons, then T-Mac would be looking to score on every possession and scoring at will like always. Now, he just seems like he is looking to set others up and this transition, along with him not playing b-ball for over 8 months, has messed up his shooting rythm.

This is typical of the bandwagon society we now live in. Most people want to jump on the hottest and flashiest thing at the time. Now it seems to be Kobe, Wade, Melo, Lebron...Once T-Mac gets in his groove and starts playing with more confidence, and adjusts to his role and starts having more monster games, people will be back on his bandwagon. For now, all you haters, and closet faker fans who wanna bring up Kobe being better than T-Mac all the time, keep hating, we'll see you jump all over the bandwagon once T-Mac, Yao and Co. are in the WC finals and Kobe is gone fishing or cheating.
