Man making threads that people contribute to is not easy is it? But hey, it's like black market. When you can't get money, do the wrong things. Same scenario, can't think of any thread, so a McGrady thread is made for the sake of it, just to get some talking.
How many times has this thread been posted? I've lost count. We've beaten this topic to death. The man is injured. He is injury prone. When he is 100% he is unstoppable and can play with the best in the league. However he is not currently 100%. Why don't we put the issue to rest and then depending on his performace after he comes back we can resurrect this topic?
How about let's keep him around untill his $22 M comes off the books (2010) and go after another big franchise player to team up with Yao?
What???? How do you get that??? I said maybe for head you crazy....Villineuva would give heighth at the PF and C being that he is 6'11" bigger than everyone else on our team. He is more of a PF, but he would be just as good a back up as Wallace. Duh.
Even though on draft day I said Joakim Noah would be a bust and it was so easy to call I wouldn't be mad if we traded him for Luther. Actually would be a solid trade for us even though I don't think Luther is as bad as this boards makes him out to be.
Your words are falling upon deaf ears, my friend. This is Clutchfans...where every single word, glance, movement, and breath taken by a Rockets player (especially T-MAC....but ESPECIALLY Yao) has to be dissected, analyzed, critiqued, and interpreted to find the deeper meaning of it all. Wait, what? Yao and T-Mac just left in separate cars from lunch?!? That must mean Yao is being ISO'D!!! OH GOD NO! Bye bye Playoffs!
Who can we trade him for? At this point, all we are going to take back is going to a couple of terrible contract in return. I think we should keep him.
Trading him at this point would be dumb. If we wanted to trade him, we should have done it last season, or even the season before. We have a great setup this season, its worth keeping him. Maybe we do well, maybe we dont, but I can guarntee you that we wouldnt do crap in the post season if we trade Tracy because we wont get anything worthwhile in return.
if he plays tonight and drops 30 i will not be surprised when everyone is here saying to never trade tmac he is our leader
Oh you know that's the truth, man. A lot of the fans that post around here are so fical and quick to react without thinking it's ridiculous. And stop with all the "trade t-mac?" stuff, guys. I don't mind random trade threads, but T-Mac is here to stay for good reason. Now if he has a completely terrible season this year, misses a lot more time, never gets into his rhythm coming back from his current injury, etc... then maybe it'd be worth considering to trade him next season-but even in that situation there are a lot of variables. No, even though T-Mac isn't the old T-Mac he can still bring a whole lot to this team when he's on the court, and his talent and fire will be invaluable after the all-star break and in the playoffs. Trust me, T-Mac is a vital piece to our championship puzzle-no need to trade him for some scrub/s that aren't suited to carry McGrady's bottle of pain killers.
