Imagine a guy like Russell Wilson in this offense...Infact this offense is tailored made for a mobile QB...It just happens that the Kubiak and Matt Schaub are just pathetic... F U Matt Schaub
He is in decline - you can see it, he has happy feet, his confidence looks shot, but I doubt that Kubes will make a change. DD
Can we just close this thread. It was never a legitimate question anyway. Three pick-sixes in four games. It is time to sit Matt Schaub. Enough already. Give the youngsters a chance. No wait, put Schaub in against SF in SF. Let that be his final game.
Russel Wilson played like crap the majority of the game and also threw a INT that nearly cost them the game. Schaub threw a costly INT but also picked apart the best defense in the NFL for most of the game.
This is starting to remind me of when Parcells benched Drew Bledsoe for the young gunslinger Tony Romo. Seriously, what is it exactly that Schaub can do that either Yates or Keenum CAN'T? I would actually be surprised if either of those two would be feeding pick-sixes to the other team every week. It's time for Schaub to go, while this team still has talent.
And it isn't just the pick 6s. This dude can't do **** unless he has five seconds clean in the pocket. We all saw how visibly upset Andre was when he was wise open in the back of the endzone, but a happy feet Schaub threw it at the feet of Daniels instead of just setting and getting it to Andre. You got Cushing last week saying "they not gonna do it" when talking about the offense, you have Arian and Andre visibly upset with schaub, you have teammates privately admitting to not having faith in him, etc. Ben Tate fumbles once and is benched. I wonder how many.more pick 6s Schaub needs to throw for kubiak to bench him.
Russell Wilson doesnt have Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels, and a talented wr corp like Shaub put Wilson on the texans and they would never lose, nevermind Wilson's intanigbles.. i fell in love with this kid( no homo), when they were down to the Falcons in the playoffs by 27 points, and he got them the lead in the 4th quarter. This kid is a winner, can you imagine Matt Schaub doing something like that in the playoffs on the road
I almost wish he was, because at least we'd know for sure our back-up(s) would get a shot. Actually, I take that back. Even then, Kubiak would say something like, "Gabbert/Geno faced adversity and had some tough breaks. I blame that on me," and of course McNair would do nothing.
