Stop watching football lol. Vince Young does what better than Schaub besides evading the rush and making 1st downs with his legs?

I do not know how you can say those things after watching the Texans vs Redskins game. Did you see all the throws he made. Heck he was even evading some pressure and creating throws. Stepping up in the pocket before he is about to get drilled and throwing it up to Andre. Im sorry but Vince's college football days are over and he is not the most athletic guy on the field anymore.

Schuab looked like Big Ben today, evading the rush and creating plays. Amazing.

He's not losing games with his feet... he's winning games with his arm.

And today, two of his three TD's were off him being "elusive" when the protection broke down.

Duane Brown can't come back fast enough...

Yep, he was doing a fantastic job at feeling the pressure, and extending the play to give the receivers time to open up down the field to make a play.

Who is clutch all the time?

Being clutch is by definition being clutch "sometimes" since no QB or player is clutch all the time.

The question is whether Schaub has been clutch in enough instances to be characterized as clutch.

I think that the main question of this thread should have been, "Do you think that Matt Schaub is the QB that will ultimately lead the Texans to the playoffs and beyond?". I have to admit, I do have my doubts. No one can argue with his stats, but there are just some times this season when I wonder if he's not trying harder to stay ON the field and avoid interceptions than to move the team down the field. He definitely seems to have the intangibles....leadership, grace under pressure....but I just don't know if he's "the guy".

Hah, I think Schaub is a good QB, but when teams pressure him he gets way too rattled IMO, he still has some work to do in that department.

If you give him time though he will pick you apart.

Great game today, glad to see AJ get another late TD.....but I wish the defense would blitz a bit more.

    When teams "pressure" him?

    How do you define that...?
Teams are always constantly pressuring the QB.....

Also Schaub definitely isn't "rattled" in the 4th quarter of NFL games that for sure.

    Your ignorance is amazing.
