AJ is important to this team... but without Schaub, this team is dead.

Just in today's game, notice how Schaub can utilize the other recievers when AJ was injured (hell, they scored a TD without AJ in there). And then the pass to Dresen to set up the GW FG was just a perfectly placed, clutch, pass.... again, nothing to do with AJ.

DD, where you at brother? Waiting to have you drug tested if you're still saying Houston should have drafted Vince over Mario and that he is better than Matt Schaub.

I already admitted I was wrong about Matt Schaub and that he is a very good NFL QB.

Still some flaws, mainly footspeed etc....but he has seriously grown on me.

I have never really embraced the Texans because I live in Austin etc, but lately that is changing, I just like how they are put together.

And AJ has been on my fantasy team for the last 4 years, so I have been watching more and more.

Wish I had Schaub, Brett Favre is sucking donkey dung this year.

Of course, I like a QB that can run a bit.....doesn't seem to bother Matt though, he is really accurate....and that running game is helping out too.

I do wish they would have run Foster more today.

Where does it say that if a QB has slow footspeed, it is a flaw?

He showed some guts today, took some serious licks and made good throws when he had to. I'm impressed.

And for all you VY oglers, b/c I know you're out there; while Schaub threw for almost 500 yds, Young got benched.

    Proud of you DD...

I was on a flight and missed the game...had to stay away from all news sources until I watched it on my DVR.

Just finished watching and my hands are shaking. Wow.

Props to you for admitting it, DD. Wish the rest of the VY sackboys would follow your lead.

    4. The defensive players were confused as to how Matt Schaub threw for 497 yards despite getting five sacks and hit often. Here's what Adam Carriker said about his play: "It's like he was blind to the rush. His best attribute today is that he didn't pay attention to it. Most quarterbacks would have gotten rattled. But he didn't seem to do that."

London Fletcher said, "We brought pressure, we played coverage, we played zone. We mixed up everything. We did all kinds of different things. We couldn't stop him."

With you on running Foster more, but unfortunately our DB's were getting smoked and put us behind too much to run the ball consistently.

I just saw the replay of that last TD to AJ. AJ made a great catch, but Schaub really deserves props for that pass. He avoided a sack, one armed it and still stepped in to take the hit, and threw it across his body and it got there perfectly. Great play.
