So, are you just going to make the claim that you had the Chris Paul trade before Woj, and then not provide the evidence that would take two seconds to retrieve? I don't understand.

I was sent a message the day of the CP3 trade by BBH. I wouldn't share it unless he asked me to because I wouldn't share anything anyone sent me without being okay'd. He told me that the Rockets were working on a deal to have CP3 opt in and traded prior to his deadline. I honestly thought it sounded farfetched but this is the second time BBH has messaged me before something crazy happened. The first was a detail regarding Ty Lawson opting out of his second year. Both these messages were about 30 minutes before each trade became public. I know it's fun to hate on BBH but just realize he's a passionate fan just like a lot of us.

He didn't have the exact details on the trade correct (outgoing players etc.) but these were the messages I received all about 30 minutes before the trade went public.

We have discussed with the Clippers the idea of Paul not exercising his ETO.
He told them he was going to exercise it but he hasn't formally done it.
So I'm just telling you, there is the possibility he's a Rocket before Sunday. (sic)

BBH had the dates of his opt in incorrect and the outgoing players incorrect but it was the first time I'd heard the idea of an opt in and a trade and it was 30 minutes before Woj tweeted it.

It's okay to not believe him or me but I'm telling you he told me before the trade happened that it was going to happen.

    look at time stamps.

I don't see why he wouldn't be okay with it. He told us to talk to you, and when I asked him to post the message he said he was too tired. I'm sure he wouldn't mind, as it only validates him, which is great for everyone on CFs. He will only get kudos from me If he did call it.

Only reason why the deadline date was off was I forgot what day was the 30th. I knew he had until the 29th and it as early in the morning when I got the info and I didn't process the dates correctly.

There were several iterations of the trade that were discussed between us and the Clippers and there may be more information come out on that later.

Les is RICH!!! He's making TONS of money investing in Chinese companies. One of the Company he was the first investor in is now worth $70 billion!!!! ANTA SPORTS

He was an early Investor in Anta Sports. They just paid Klay Thompson $80 millions. HE"S RICH thanks to Chinese investment

Anta Sports was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007 with its IPO price at HK$5.28 per share, while Leslie Lee Alexander, owner of the Houston Rockets, acted as its cornerstone investor.[5][6]

In October 2010, the company acquired the Fila trademark in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao from Belle International.[7] Since then, the company operates the Fila business in these three areas. Former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett left his former shoe sponsor Adidas and has been sponsored by Anta since August 2010. Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson also left his Nike sponsor and has been signed with Anta since February 2015.[8]

We won't be in financial trouble when my guy (And I do respect him as a player and person) Fly Ry is shipped out East in a 3 team deal. Teams will take him, but we may have to take something back.

He's a good piece of a stretch 4...but if all goes according to plan, he'll be gone by December. I feel for him. I had high hopes and I admire his strength after what happened to his gf/fiance.

If he came back this season and tore it up, I'd want to keep him. But, the 3rd and 4th star, along with the vet bench takes the cake.

Bizness in the league is brutal.

Codman saying December tells me we might be trading some free agents we are about to sign, or that other teams are about to sign.

So, seriously, how is it possible for Uncle Le$ to not be in financial trouble. He just signed Harden to big money and is going to be signing Chris to big money next year. I'm sure we will be paying quite a bit of money in luxury taxes over these next few years.

Does he not have kids to inherit this money too in the future and he just doesn't give a ****?

After getting 2.2 billion, I think this thread should be put to a stop forever.
